I didn’t either until I saw one from a breeder. That was my Gabby. When I got her, I didn’t know she had gingivitus. I took her to vet.(she was about a year old) The vet removed everyone of her teeth and blasted me for not taking care of her. I told her that would have been hard for me to do since I had just purchased her a day or two ago. I also told her who the breeder was and she was surprised as it was a client of hers.
Anyway, Gabby lived to 14 years old and gummed dry food and wet food the entire way. I loved that cat. They were all my hearts and souls.
