Okay - I have my website up. It has some bugs in it, the gallery button isn't working but you can see some of the shots on the initial page. Somehow the galleries are stuck under the order section = I have to fix that somehow, but the website folks are closed now.

Is it okay to post a link - it's a commercial site and I think there are rules against that on FR. ??

Hmmmmm, I don’t know about any rules against posting links to commercial sites. We post links to places like Jeffers all the time, so I’d say go ahead. If it’s against the rules they’ll just delete the post and tell you not to do it again, but I seriously don’t think that it is, expecially if you’re just sharing pictures and not actively soliciting business.

Thanks. I was nervous, as neither Daisy or I had done that before. I had visions abt her weaving all over the ring, but she didn't, even neck-reining in the water glass class. I'd always wanted to do that, so after 50, I finally got to try it. It was fun, even if it was just a little country show. Hal got pictures of me carrying the water.

These are the 3 speed rackers going around a curve. The horses are even leaning in like motorcycles they were going so fast.

I like that last pic. It’s always amazed me how much they lean, almost like cartoon characters, running up on the wall when they round a corner. That ring was really too small for them to safely get up much of a head of steam though. They really need solid wood around the bottom like they have at the Celebration Arena for that.

Yes, we were surprised when we saw the picture. You don’t realize how far over they are till you see it in still form. It was really cool.

Hello, I enjoyed the phone call too:)

JP and I went to the lake today. He swam for 4 hours non-stop...I’m beat, and he’s still running around here playing:) We had a great time with a friend of mine and her 3 grandkids.

Hi - I’ll check out the videos in a bit!

It’s been a rough day here that started with the tub not draining this morning and ended a few minutes ago with having the septic tank pumped.

I need a bath. :~) And now I can have one!

Gee, where’s everyone at?

I’ve had a busy day. I picked up the vette from the mechanics, and now it’s at the tire store getting the front end aligned, and 4 new tires. Did I mention, I’ve decided not to sell it right now:)

I also ordered the signs for the building, and the Private Lot signs, so we stop having so much problem with people parking in the lot that don’t belong there.

Aw MAN! There’s nothing nastier than a stopped-up septic system! I feel for ya. Did they have to dig up the yard or do you have an access port for your septic tank? They had to dig up our yard when we had to have it done and it was the biggest mess you’ve ever seen. Took forever to get the yard leveled back out. We haven’t had it done since we’ve lived where we are now and that’s been 3 years so I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before it happens to us. We should just go ahead and have somebody pump it, especially since my FIL owns the property. They say it will prolong the life of your field lines to have it done fairly often.

It has been kinda quiet in here lately hasn’t it.

So are you just going to drive the Vette yourself? Sounds like fun! Talk about a Red Hot Mama in a Hot car! Better watch out, you’ll have a new man on your heels if you’re not careful! ;o)

Have you started any construction on your apartment yet or are you waiting until you sell the house first? Any nibbles on the house yet?

Yeah - yesterday was a rough day.

We brought out the roto rooter guy first, but it wasn’t a plug between the septic and the house. This drain field is weak, we know that. We’ve been limping it along since the last crisis about 5 years ago. And he said right now all the roots are really digging to try to find water, so root clogs are common now. Letting it dry out while the tank refills will hopefully help. Otherwise it’ll need some repair or replacement.

I hope it fixes itself.

The tank is actually out back, in the ‘wilds’, not in the lawn, so it doesn’t hurt anything when it’s dug up. We left the lids exposed now, actually. Just in case.

Then the power went out yesterday too, for about 20 minutes. It just wasn’t a good day for the basic infrastructure around here!

Yeah, I’ll drive it some. It’s more my sentimental button got pushed in, it was rather hard seeing his bike go, I’m not quit ready to see the car leave now.

I haven’t started on the apt. yet. This is our real busy season for work, so the the house and apt. are on hold for the time being, probably till after the first of the year.

Septic problems can be a real pain. I’m sorry you’re having trouble.

Well, I guess the motorhome would be more practical for that road trip we talked about, but the vette would be a lot of fun too! :~)

Agreed! We talked about doing just that, in a motorhome adventure. Talked about her coming back up here for another visit too.

See, if I had money, I’d say “Hook that stallion of yours up to that motorhome and haul both of them up here. I’d like to buy them both if I had the money. :~) Then she could just fly home... eeerm... except then what about the horse trailer.

I guess the plan needs work, and money.
