The DNA results are in... The suspect pit bull shares DNA with Mike Tyson. Did the kid need reconstructive surgery on his ears, too?

I know I will get flamed for this by some who just hate the breed, but I think the reason you see so many maulings, bites, etc from pits is exactly who is attracted to them (because of their macho looks and rep). I have had 2 pits in my life. Both were sweet, neither ever offered to bite anyone. Both were kind of stupid and destructive of my stuff, but neither had a mean bone in their body. Our obedience club had several members with pits. None of those dogs showed any aggression whatsoever.
Can a pit do horrible damage if they decide to? Sure. Do alot of really icky people breed them now? Absolutely! Would I procure one from any of those people or an unknown source? Absolutely not.

I agree, The only thing I know for sure about the situation in that house is that we don’t know the whole story.
I deal with bad dogs all the time. I see the pictures of attack victims and interview witnesses. There seems to be a witness that saw the dog, “knotted up” inside the boy.
There is a lot of story between when the mom left the room and when they found the boy and the dog.

You heard that story and you believed it?? ROFLMAO!

How about if the dog humps your toddler’s anus until reconstructive surgery is required, Mr. hip, sophisticated and with it?
Maybe you need to get a grip.

“How would a two year old be nauseated “
Because the end of his GI tract was almost ripped out?

I know what you are saying; but if it were two dogs; it would be pretty painful for both and biting would most likely be a result. However, I don’t think this child is equiped like a dog.

Do you suppose the police google during investigations? If pertinent info isn't found in WACIC/NCIC or local records...you bet

They don’t always lock; but this story suggests that the dog was still attached to the child.
To: mamelukesabre
They may have just begun the process or finished it too.

Sounds like a a good assessment to me.

The vomitting seems strange. It's not uncommon for people to vomit from pain, particularly in those areas.
