The vomitting seems strange. It's not uncommon for people to vomit from pain, particularly in those areas.

It's not uncommon for people to vomit from pain, particularly in those areas.Good point. I imagine there is real survival value to emptying out the top end of the digestive tract to allow the bottom end more time to heal.
