Hah!
>>Choo Choo City for the weekend
Why??
Good morning to you too.
I started a new exercise program and can eat so much more than I could before.
I have been low carbing for quite a while but have noticed recently that I can have the chicken fried steak with hash browns and cereal with real milk. Yum.
I’m going back to bed since I have been up since 3am.
Lots to do today so I’ll do it all a little later. Going to be cool enough here to enjoy working outside. Next week, up into the hundreds. Yuck.
They are trying shrimp farming her, putting them in the power plants ponds, warm water, so far it is working, fresh water shrimp and nothing is better that those good ole Gulf of Mexico shrimp.
Simple, ‘no good’.
Have you ever noticed the dims? they start with one short sentence then it grows and grows and grows until they get their man to resign or fired.
And for the next 100 years denies doing it, he is about a 100 now isn’t he?
It is an opportunity for me, and the girl’s to meet JT’s fiance’s parents.
Roomey and I were talking of just that this AM. Bless his heart, he’s no shopper, but did say it’s hard to tell where anything comes from now day, because the item may be made in China, Indonesia or where ever, but the notation on the package will only tell who distributes it.
It’s still morning, GOOD MORNING ALL. It’s beautiful here today, the sun is shining, the ground is a bit soggy, the grass is dry so Roomey is mowing. I’ll go out and check my veggies, am doing the laundry and masking woodwork for a paint job.
prairie, I’m just being recommended to the ENT Drs for an examination. The audioligist thinks I may have more than just nerve damage in the inner ear. I’ll be waiting for my appointment date from the ENT people now.
I think they’re looking at the immigration bill again and will try and pull out parts they think we’ll buy into and try, again, to make an immigration law. We have to watch those critters, they are a thneaky lot.
I lived in the Va Beach area and we got our shrimp from the gulf stream off our coast and mostly I think they came from the boats out of Oregon Inlet, NC (Nags Head area) - there are two grocery stores out here that sell frozen Gulf shrimp in the fish dept., but not year round. Interesting about the farm raised ones in power plant water, can you imagine how big they would be if it was a nuclear plant, why the very word “shrimp” would be an oxymoron.
I read the labels now for the country that GREW or RAISED the food product. If in doubt at the meat or fish counter or produce dept. I ask them to check out where it originated. I thought it was a law to have it labeled as such. My husband bought New Zealand apples this week at our local store and we live in Washington state! I heard Michael Savage say one time to only buy Haas avocadoes from California, because the ones from Mexico were fertilized with human waste. That did it for me. The illegals may contaminate our crops here, but I feel there is less of a chance than if they are in Latin America.
Yes, local products are now the safest to count on. I am off to the local farmers market this morning to get LOCALLY GROWN food. I have decided to grow my own garlic this year too.
Loved the story ans sent it to my cousin who played the organ for 12 years in church!
Thanks for the coffee and breakfast....
She is doing better especially seeing as the heat wave has passed, of course she doesn’t think so but that’s an indication she’s getting better
I am going out to my brothers a little later to get a break.
Yes, like the Borg they are persistent and like the Borg, they will mutate and adapt and then mutate back once cooperation and assimilation is achieved. Like the Borg, the RATS are opportunists.
Our fish products in HEB are labeled. I really buy only Alaskan fish, a bit more, but..., gulf shrimp, and am reading labels of origin. I even ask about the beef and lamb.
Texas grows apples, and I find it amusing when I see Washington State apples on sale. Right now we’re getting bing cherries, and Mt Rainier cherries. The Mt Rainier look and taste like Queen Ann cherries, to me.
Strange thing here, we get a LOT of shrimp shipped in from Mexico, yep. Some states are baring the Mexican shrimp but how in the world would you know where they come from, don’t see a license plate on their rear.
