I had to leave while it was still “cool” (90 degrees), and I wish now that I had left at 0600. The humidity is up to 12% and for here, that’s ugly, this time of year.
Now, of course, I feel like I need a cool-down. My clothes are sticking to me! ARGH!

It got cloudy and kind of dark late morning here yesterday...I felt the humidity shoot up...thought we were going to have a thunderstorm.
An hour later it was sunny, clear, and 90 degrees again.
The say it’s supposed to cool down this weekend, but then again “they” say the Earth is warming. *coughs bu!!$#it*.

Yah...my friend in Vegas (by the AFB) said his garage was 125, his “toybox” was 129 inside, and the concrete driveway was 136.
When it’s that hot, any time the humidity gets into the double digits, people start dropping like flies.

I felt like it when I got in!
The humitidy is out of the single digits this morning, and we have some clouds coming in. The temp is 97, my thermostat is set to 87, and I thought I would freeze when I came in! LOL!

LOL my thermostat is on 78. I’m just hoping it doesn’t rain here, although it seems like you could use some of that.

We’ll get it. We’ve just started the monsoon season, so for the next 6-12 weeks, we’ll have “rain” in some parts of the valley every day.
I hate it, but it’s a necessary evil.

SeaHawkFan, sounds like you probably live in the Puget Sound area. Are you aware of the Puget Sound Chapter’s picnic in a couple of weeks?

Splody things are also good for landscaping.
But I expect you already knew that.

I feel a lot better about 85 degrees after hearing about 120. Although even at 85 here in MI the humidity makes it like swimming with your clothes on.
