I was trying to put some pure acetone which I just bought for 5 dollars for 32oz into my car

Is this a trick question?
Is that the correct spelling?
I think it’s an acceptable dialectical variation. I’m inclined to use “Duh,” myself.
I’ve only been a regular here for a couple months and I don’t have the end-of-the-month rigamarole down yet. Don’t we change addresses/threads soon? I want to make sure I’m ready, bags packed, etc.
It looks like Wednesday is August 1, so sionnsar should bring the moving van around sometime tomorrow. I usually sleep through the actual transition, due to the time zone issues.
Which way to Newcastle? Just follow the trail of coals ...

Ha...
(crickets chirping)
Morning!
I got 200 pages read last night! I wanted to keep going but my eyelids kept slamming shut. :o[
Bill’s about that far along, too.
I think sionnsar is still out in the boonies. Don’t quote me on it, though.
He’s the mastermind behind the moves, so we just keep posting until he hitches up the moving van.
At least this thread is moving faster than last month’s....
I’m always surprised at how well the books are done. Like I said last night, the woman is brilliant.
I’ll be done with it in a couple of days ~~ maybe by Thursday night. (I live such and exciting life.)
The writing has improved over the years, but the setting was always so involving that it overcame any other weaknesses.
She’s sure done a good job with the major details. She’s one of the few authors that I don’t have to go back over a few paragraphs to find out what I missed because something doesn’t make sense. It’s all very cohesive.
I had a little trouble with the first chapter because I was expecting the events to take place at the Dursleys. Now that I’m in it so far, I’ll have to go back and read that first chapter again, just to make sure I have everything in the right order.
My brain was balking last night...I couldnt seem to get it together until the third chapter. *sigh*
I have days like that, too. I’ll read it again when all the kids are done. I’ve got the CD’s on order at the library, but I’m in the 100’s in line :-).
Ouch.
I’m glad I’m living in a small town. It isn’t, really, but since I live in the older part of Henderson, it’s “small town.” Most people gravitate to the newer sections to the west, but I don’t bother with that, for the most part.
When I want something from the library, I just call them and tell them and they get it for me in a day or two. Lucky me!!
Charlotte-Mecklenburg is a huge library system, but they’ve got lots of copies. I’ll get it eventually!
I don’t know how many libraries the Valley has, (I’d say “county,” but the county is HUGH!) but I do know there must be close to 20.
The nice thing is that I don’t have to get a new card for each area. My card is good in any city in Nevada.
Now that's a good deal! We have cards for Union County (where we live) and from Mecklenburg County (Charlotte), but we have to pay an annual fee to use Mecklenburg.
No fees, here. We just apply for the card and get it while we’re standing there. I’ve never had an overdue book, but that’s because I read so many.
In Vegas, we can take out as many as we want (up to 10) for three weeks, but here, it’s two weeks.
I think user-supported (as opposed to tax-supported) libraries are a good thing, so I don’t mind paying my out-of-county fee for Meck. A little piece of personal responsibility in the People’s Republic!
