Was that too harsh? It sounded a little harsh.

Note to self: Always remember to listen to what you say to others and do it yourself.

Self replies: I don’t wanna!

Note: You better or I’ll tell ma.

Self: Awwwww!

No, no ... I was just observing that the sun was shining, the grass growing (visibly), and the babies chirping.

Or something like that.

I have to put dinner in the crockpot now!

It hit 101 at my house yesterday.

I am not amused.

God gave you another day. Don’t waste it.

Good Morning!

Inevitably, some parts of the day will get wasted, such as any interaction with a governmental entity. What can you do, though.

Here’s a story for you:

Viet Nam Vet double amputee running across America:

On of our PGR members out on a ride in the Palm Springs area ran across him and gave us a heads up. I’m thinking about posting a thread...

Ouch! It was in the high 90s at my house, but we were helped by all the tall trees around us so it only got up to about 80 or so inside. I didn't even have to retreat to the basement.

I work for a governmental entity, so that must mean my entire day is a waste. Hmmm.

LOL. I had a good experience with our state attorney general's office yesterday. Had some material to e-mail him but couldn't find an e-mail address, so I called the office. Everyone was out and the receptionist didn't knw it, so I told her I'd call back the next day. 20 minutes later my phone rang -- it was a staff member calling back with the address.

I don't see that kind of service from many politicians' offices, except those who know us personally.
