(I’m sorry. My eyelids slammed shut, so I watched the dreams for a while...)

Matt Damon is just one of many who seem to think they “will make a difference.” As if they could stop a volcano, hurricane, El Nino, earthquake....
The world constantly reinvents itself, and who is to say this is “global warming?” It may be just that the earth is getting back to “normal.” Natural disasters seem to be the earth’s way of saying, “You’re in my way!”

I’m back. My weekend boss told me I had to not show up this weekend so Mrs. 88 and I took a 24 hour holiday. Somehow my boss got the impression that with my regular job plus impending Vacation Bible School I might be flirting with exhaustion.
It really and truly boggles my mind because I’ve always thought of myself as relatively lazy. No really. (And I didn’t appreciate that sotto voce comment from the peanut gallery as to how good a faker I am.)
Anyhoo. Good morning and if I don’t see you... Good afternoon, Good evening and Goodnight.
Be back in the A.M. to sound reveille.

Have never seen a dust storm -- and don't want to.
sionsar, Just for you:-). This is an older picture from Qandahar, Afghanistan in '03. It looks like a tidal wave rolling in over you. This was one of those times when holding your breath is a good thing.
I have found out that these hot days are great for brewing sun tea! Drop a couple tea bags in a bottle of water, add honey, set it outside, and wait 3-4 hours. Excellent!
