;o)
Glad you had a great Birthday!
I received lovely gifts, a denim jacket with embroidery embellishing around the neck. A lovey pull over knit blouse with embroidered dragonflies on the front!
The cheesecake was out of this world.
Oh, I am pooped, outside in the weather all day.
It was great, we saw a Scarlet Tanager pair, Cardinals, Hummingbirds, Hawk, and many more.
Sounds like you had a beautiful day as well as a fun one.
That’s a lot of different birds to see in one day.
It was the best bird show I’ve seen in a long time. They live near a creek in a rural area, the variety of birds that come to her feeder is amazing.
They also have a beaver family who enjoy cutting down the trees on the creek bank.
We have a pond, that and the feeders attract a lot of wildlife. Oh, the parties they have!
It was lovely outside today except for the very cool and strong breeze. My house is so cool now that I am turning on the heat to take the chill out, I just can’t stand it anymore.
It takes a bit to heat the house up naturally (we have had sunny but not warm days) in a while now, so I am going to enjoy the heat. ;)
Water is great for attracting all manner of wildlife.
Oh, a dragonfly landed in the pool, I went over and fished it out with a net, put it on the concret to dry out a bit -it flew right back into the pool. It was missing a wing, my daughter fished it out again, I guess it died anyway.
You can’t save them all, Feather. At least you tried.
Dragonflies live for only 24 hours, I don’t think they are supposed to drown. ;)
From what I have read, it sounds like you had a great birthday. Hope the rest of the day goes pleasantly.

Dang, it so chilly here nights I don’t think the fireflies are coming out, I have been watching no blinking going on.
Maybe they will show up next week it’s going to warm up again.
And how did your day on the job go, a quiet one??
Well, the house is finally warm and the sandman is creeping in around the corners. Soon it will be time to hit the pillows -well maybe not, there is an old movie on that I am watching. “I’ll Cry Tomorrow” ~the life story of Lillian Ross. She had a terrible battle with alcohol. Wound up on Skid Row, was in rehab for a while. I don’t know if she died sober or not. The movie does not go into that.
