[Soaring Feather]

My Dragonfly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Echoes o’ ta Green

I remembers home, thou fer it be now
tis the greens I recall ta most
frem ta stony bay ta top o’ ta Tor
n’ how ta grey fog misted over all
I swears I hears ta land’s soft call
as if a whisper thru time’s door
ta beauty of it needs no boast
n’ magic nuff ta make a wizard bow

Ta old glen were ancient afore me fadders time
n’ sweet it were like honey scented wine
in ta night I admits I’ve often weep fer wha I lost
fer time turns na back even in this magic land
n’ so we finally accept ta hard truth out ahand
but den I didn’t understand ta bitter bitter cost
beneath dem shadowed trees of oakn’ ashn’ pine
it were like a sweet sad song of time n’ rhyme

Good morning ladies. I see that we are catching a few extra winks of sleep. Today’s breakfast menu is: egg any style, fried pork chops, country stlye fried potatoes, Texas toast, assorted condiments, bearclaws, juice and Columbian coffee. Yummy. 8^)
