As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
The beginning of the hurricane season in the Atlantic has taken place...
...AND...
TROPICAL STORM BARRY ADVISORY PACKAGE #3A
FIX TIME: 1200Z (8 AM ET)
FIX LOCATION: 27.1N / 83.5W (85 mi SE Tampa, FL)
FIX METHOD: SATELLITE / NEXRAD
VECTOR: NNE / 20 MPH
PRESSURE: 997 MB (29.44" Hg)
WINDS: 50 MPH (Minor TS)
TROPICAL STORM WIND RADIUS: 90 Mi
Discussion:
Think nor'easter.
The environment simply is not friendly right now for any significant enhacement to this system. It will come ashore in Florida around Tampa, exit Florida north of Jacksonville, and then hug the coast heading fairly rapidly to the northeast. Later in the forecast period, the east coast of the United States will experience what amounts to a late-season coastal storm. By that point, BARRY will have ceased to exist as a tropical entity anyhow.
In other news...
India's richest man, Mukesh Ambani, has designed a home for his wife, three kids, and mother, which among other things will be looked after by 600 live-in staff. Did I mention that it would be 60 stories tall?
Estimated price tag: $800 million.

LET'S ROLL!!!
Hi! Let me just run on out and buy one of those skyscraper homes...
Good morning, and thanks for the start!
It’s his money to spend (or waste), I guess. I wonder how many homes with running water and decent sanitation for the poor could have been built, how many museums could have been built, or how many children’s educations could have been financed with that kind of money.
I guess I’m not “into” conspicuous consumption.
Good morning Chair.
600 servants? That seems a little excessive. As my wife said, we could get by just fine with 60 or 80. Of course, we don’t have a 60-story home with hanging gardens. Ours is a one-level ranch.
We are eagerly anticipating Barry here. Both to help put out the fires in South Georgia and Fla. (that have been sending smoke all the way up to Atlanta) and because the drought is so bad here. We need the rain.
Also, I posted this last night:

Do you know the difference between a Right and a Privilege? John Edwards gets 100% WRONG!
Chair, methinks you're going to be busy this season...

600 live in staff to that high rise?
Wow! I wonder how many it takes to make a PBJ sandwich?
Good morning!
Had to man the lifeboats yesterday, a evaporating coil burst from our air conditioner, water came flowing into our kitchen.
Out to exercise and hunt down some yard sales, but am home for the day...

And now, the watch starts, every storm warning is paid attention to and yes, we are getting ready, stocking up on 30 gallons of gas and a few of diesel fuel, butane, powered milk, water comes from the well and the generator runs that for us so no problem there. food stuffs and I truly hope we have no use of any of the items.
I mentioned it a bit ago but will again, the gospel sing was a great success last night and next month we have a Blue Grass gospel group, all under 16 and extra good at that, I can’t wait.
Got more work in the yard today and must get on it before it gets hot which it will, soon. Just never a rest time for us country folks, work, work, work.
All have a good and safe day, share your love with your family with open arms and words and a smile to those you come into contact with, a good day for this for sure.

We went looking for garage sales and came back empty handed. Everything was priced too high for in terrible condition.
Good morning, Toby.
I think next year we'll need our own things anyway, since they've been misusing the preschool's items and it's getting to be an issue.
The garage sales we went to had plenty of toys.
Oh my!
You tell ‘em ,Toby!
