The Associated Press asked the presidential candidates what pets they had at home. ...
As for the rest of the candidates, here's what AP reported:

He could tell Bessie all about the troubles with Hugo Chavez, Kim Jung Il, and Nancy Pelosi. By the time the bucket’s full, he’d know how to deal with all of them.
Why would you doom such cute furry creatures to deal with a weasel like Hil-liar-y.
And yes, rats make pretty good little pets!
Bessie is probably smarter than the average lawyer in Washington.
I know plenty of folks who raise rats for snake food and end up keeping quite a few as pets.
Does it look something like this?
That’s the idea. I tend not to feed them anything that stretches them that much. Eating those really big meals is really pretty stressful for them. A larger number of smaller meals is healthier.
Ya know, if these stupid people would’ve stopped feeding the rats back in the dark ages, maybe we wouldn’t’ve had the freakin’ plague. lol
Good thing there’s only one Michael Moore. You wouldn’t Duncan eating like that all the time.
Then there would be a half hour out of every school year with nothing to teach in history class.
Is my age showing?
Or maybe we’d be a couple hundred years ahead? Like WW1 would have started in the 1700s instead of 1914. Of course, this is all just joking speculation. Although, good point about having nothing to teach...I just got out of high school last year, so I spent about the last 4 years of my life in a social studies/history class. The make up of what we learned:
1 year on US History
3 years on how bad the US/the West/Christianity/Any monotheistic religion is, depending on the time period. Oh I mean World History. lol
No, it’s your political correctness that is clearly lacking! /sarc
lol
I killed a copperhead yesterday and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I hate snakes.
If the copperhead was near your home, I understand. I wouldn’t have done the same, but I understand people being worried about their children, their pets, and themselves encountering a venomous snake by surprise when going through the bushes by the house or the tools in the shed. Otherwise, your ignorance is sad.
I’m not sure that any snake could swallow something that large and survive.
The copperhead was in the flowerbed right beside my back door. I hate snakes.
You’re coming across as rude and ignorant. Is that your intention?
Rude and ignorant because you like snakes and I don’t?
There’s nothing about what Fred owns. Does anyone know what sort of dog he has? I’m betting a lab; he seems like the lab type. A real man, in other words.
I don't like chihuahua dogs, but I don't try to push my dislike for these dogs in the face of someone who likes them. Doing so would be rude. My parents tried to teach me better than to be rude. It's a shame that yours didn't.
There's a time for fighting against liberal stupidity, but the point of the General/Chat section of the forum was to make room for threads that weren't about those issues where we must constantly fight. I enjoyed seeing what kind of pets some of the candidates have. I enjoy talking to people about their pets and about animals in general. The point of this thread was to take a break from the big issues and have a pleasant thread about pets. Instead of following that theme, you're pushing your ignorance at me. That makes you someone who needs to grow up.
