My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Hello Meg, gorgeous presentation, elegant. Thank You!
Temps are much cooler this morning, no sun, no rain, just gloom and damp. Well, it is what it is, and it is only for this day. :)

Good morning,

I am glad it is at least cooler for you. I thought the rain and damp would never stop for awhile ..This week it has just been cloudy ...The sky is gray but I am pulling for the sun to break through. as it did yesterday.
I have had two fox sightings on my patio this week so it’s not all bad. ;)
I also had a tarantula at the kitchen door sill opening into my garage night before last..My kitty alerted me by going into a crouch/stalk mode.. I was “Meg the spider stalker” there for awhile..He disappeared and left me to read up on tarantulas..They are not nearly as bad as they look.
(deep breath!)
My kitty loved the excitement..I had a hard time getting her in from the garage later...and that is rare indeed.

What a picture -the fox on the patio! The tarantula, I have seen pictures of those guys, whew, sure glad we don’t have those rascals here-too cold.
We do have some nasty little spiders though, Brown Recluse for one. I have never seen one, the only spider I will let live in my house is Grand DaddyLongLegs. They eat other things. ;)
Have a good day and rest the back. My swelling is pretty much gone now with the cooler temps.
To: Soaring Feather
The brown recluse is very dangerous..like our black widow..
I hope I have seen the last tarantula..They may not be dangerous but this one did send my heart racing..BIG!
Enjoy your day! I am getting up now and then while I post this morning..then the computer gets turned off.

Lair Thinker
The thinker there in a distant land
looked pensive and so engrossed
upon some line of deep reason
that passed us mortals by all to oft
clearly his deep thoughts do loft
beyond the mortal ken and season
so perhaps hes a right to boast
as wiser then this small poet band

Hey, hey, NYA, sun is coming out today!
Though it be chilly, it’s sight warms my bones
as this day in The House of the Lair
will astound all who venture here!
How’s that for a whiz banger of a pome??
To: starbase

Very nice. It seems that the coffee has dissipated all of the morning fog normally associated with waking up. My coffee is a little lazy today as it hasn’t started to fully work. There are still a few cobwebs lurking.
