Good Morning Newsbee! Welcome.
yeah....a master gardener. ;)
You are in good company we have a lot of folks here who have really helped me with my gardening problems.
Have a question, husband and I went to a new home complex yesterday and their landscaping was beautiful. (probably very expensive) there was one particular shrub/bush that caught my eye and I WANT IT for our garden.
We went to a local gardening center here in TX but the man there claimed it looked like Kale, (which I don't think it is) I will try to best describe it and any and all suggestions are welcome
The leaves are of a dark purple almost frosted look, it grows fairly high, about 6-8 in from the ground, it has a pretty yellow flower growing from out of the middle. I very much doubt it is kale as kale is a cabbage and is round and low to the ground, this shrub/bush is not.
Also the dark purple leaves have frilly ends. HELP I want it..:)
