What's going on at DFW?!
MAF ^ | 04/18/2007 | MAF

Lloyd Christmas says there are literally hundreds of ambulances, police cars, helicopters, etc. stationed on every overpass and blocking traffic at every entrance to the airport.

Nothing on the news.

Anyone else see this?

If you are there on a layover, the only way to smoke is to go outside, but that means you leave the secured terminal and have to go back through security to get back into the terminal. Some people think the smoke-free environment makes DFW a terrible airport. Other people think the smoke-free environmnent makes DFW a great airport.

Dallas Airport

No, Dallas Airport is Love Field. DFW terminals are in Fort Worth. The property itself is in Fort Worth, Grapevine, and Irving.

Police: 8 Dallas Spas Operating As Prostitution Houses

This might explain if you were talking about Love Field instead of DFW. The "spas" were almost all on Harry Hines (yes that is the name of the boulevard) or Mockingbird near Love Field airport. There are dozens (maybe hundreds) of strip clubs, adult bookstores, "exotic tanning" salons, lingerie modeling establishments, and other SOB's in that area covering about 3 to 6 square miles.

That’s such a dirty section of town. I won’t drive through there after dark. I take the long way around Love Field if I have to pick someone up at night.

The Leonard’s M&O was the subway that ran from the parking lot north of the Courthouse to the basement level entry of Leonards Department Store. Nice little read from Time Mag Feb 1963 http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,828025,00.html

Sorry I always assume they will be polite to customers. I don’t mind going outside or in a bar . I am handicapped but I can go a long way with my cane.
I just didn’t know ahead of time.

Well, don’t kid yourself with that one. I figure there’s a least a dozen folks jonesin’ for some Texas beef BBQ, cold beer and a smoke. BUT! You can only get (enjoy) 2 of the 3 there.

Saw the same thing at the Reno Airport a few years ago when Air Force One landed with Pres. Bush.

Angelo's is still there but the days of the sawdust covered floors are gone. Last time I was there the old bear was still located in the entryway.
