It's particularly bad in the Bahamas, where the courts are gagged. But Howie knew that.....ages ago....... We are not getting enough information to make conclusions.

The Supreme Court never decided Smith was entitled to a dime. The Supreme Court only decided that the Federal court did have jurisdiction. Now it's a matter of deciding who takes precedence: The Texas Court who initiated the proceeding or the CA Court who came to a verdict first but did not initiate first. And they only got involved because of a bankruptcy issue that Stern saw as a way to go court-hopping and get another verdict in a different jurisdiction AFTER another proceeding was well underway. He's gone through SIX different courts already. There's no inkling that this man is going to stop, sorry. There's every chance he's going to lose say the experts.

Remember also, that it was the Texas Court who for 6 months, heard all of the testimony. The other courts did not. Therefore, at best it's the Texas Court who did all the work and if you want to throw all that out, you need a new trial, which is going to cost MILLIONS.

Stern is doing this not because he hates Virgie, but because he is obsessed with pursuing the J. Howard Marshall Estate and his 6%.

Virgie is doing this because she wants Stern's head. She has never once said anything about pursuing that the aforementioned claim. If Stern was any part of it, do you think she would even try?

For the child's sake and in her interest, if Larry and Virgie worked with the Marshall family minus Stern, that would be their best bet. But as long as Stern is in the picture, the Marshall family will fight them. They've said as much. They also said recently this should have been over a long time ago, but the "lawyers" refused to settle. It was the Marshall family who offered to settle. Stern advised Smith to say no.

But there is evidence before the Texas courts was not all legitimate thanks to people Pierce Marshall was paying off. This will come out when this all kicks in again... that case isn’t over, yet... she may lose, but it’s not a given she will lose because of what Pierce pulled.

~LOL~ (and I'm not laughing at you ACR) but if we didn't all draw our personal conclusions this thread would have died after the DNA was made public.

We have all gotten testy because we were all banded together in one common dislike of HKS and wanting to know who's the daddy, now we know who's the daddy and some of us still support LB and some are firmly in Virgies camp so now we are split in our loyalties and we're all fighting to make a point and no one is listening (or reading) with an open mind.

I don't think so, Carolyn. I think you can look back over my posts, and you won't be able to determine whether I was in Virgie or Larry's camp. I don't look at this rooting for a side. I'm extremely concerned about what the future implications are for the legal system. I'd like to see the perps get justice.

It's WAY more important that who is rooting for who. But that's what Howie or ET would want.
