As I see it - in the litigious world of HK$ - DL Birkhead is not the same child Seidlin assigned to Milstein.

The first infant was DL Stern and she was only used for the purpose of burying her mother in the Bahamas.

Today, there is no DL Stern and Brikhead can state that he had nothing to do with the GAL agreement. Remember *he had no dog in that fight*?

Rita is desperate! Rita and or her friends are claiming on another site that Lincoln posted a pictured of Howard and claimed that the nannies told the media Howard was Gay! She is showing her lack of investigative skills again! Lincoln did not post that information here. If she would simply click on the contact page and read the disclaimer she would see that this site consists of many bloggers who post their opinions here freely. But because we know Rita and her friends do not have the investigative skills to find the disclaimer on this site we will post a part of it here.

You are so right - until this double homicide case on *foreign soil* - we could feel secure, knowing that US Federal, State or Local law enforcement would seek out and attempt to find the truth. TV shows like Greta’s and Nancy Grace have only ever provided *side-show* entertainment. They are NOT America’s Most Wanted.

We should never expect *That’s Entertainment!* shows will be courageous enough to investigate this (or any other complex criminal enterprise) and bring the perps to trial.

Agree with much of what you posted. There is another strange aspect to their rants. They seem to believe Daniel and Anna deserved to die and Virgie should join them.

They pretty much hate: Young decent men. Bi-sexual Southern white stripper gals who marry billionaires. One retired, female, white Baptist Texas sheriff’s deputy who seeks to protect her grandchild and discover the truth concerning the abuse & deaths of her child & grandchild.

Sod...Notice their rebuttals carefully. It's a setup for a "prejudicial" jury at the inquest. But there's a big difference in a "prejudicial jury" and "people who aren't as dumb as you thought".

Scott Peterson thought he had a brilliant plan, too. GOD had a better one...when he created man and woman...to "surface after death" and the tides which brought them to shore. Man convicted Scott...but it was God who provided the evidence!!

I believe God is sooo heartbroken by the deliberate death of a child, that he does intervene somehow by the forces of nature.

I think the Methadone still in Anna's system is ONE of the things that he showed us...which is connected to a lie. If Howard's intentions were to blame Anna for Danny's death because it was her Methadone, (and I think that WAS the intent), he messed up. He was still feeding her the stuff up until the day they left the Bahamas for Florida. I now believe they MADE her sick somehow...to flush her system...bad food?? But her system had slowed down through it all..and the flushing was insufficient. And I doubt very much that she ever said she didn't want to go to the hospital. How cruel and abusive they were!!

Precisely. The totality of the abuse Anna suffered at the hands of HK$ and KE would be actionable if she had been a wheelchair-bound paraplegic in a US nursing home. In truth - she was!

Prevented from driving and leaving that prison. Prohibited from taking or making phone calls. Confined to bed -because she could barely walk or talk coherently. Left in the care of terrified strangers. Isolated from friends and family. Manipulated while grieving and post-partum. All under the watchful eye of a medical professional.

What A Mess!! You Will Hear All About It at 10pm Tonight!

We have now received a stack of audio / video tapes of Rita Cosby’s trip to the Bahamas - they document, in part, her last weekend quest to interview the nannies for Anna Nicole’s daughter. If you recall, Rita wrote a book about about Anna Nicole and in one part of the book, wrote that Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead had a sexual relationship - which the two men deny. Howard has also sued Rita and her publisher for sixty million dollars. Two of Rita’s sources, she writes, are the nannies. Did the nannies witness anything? Apparently she never talked to the nannies before she wrote the book and went to the Bahamas to try and find out what they did/did not see/say.

I have listened to and watched the tapes in our possession. One audio tape I listened to this morning records a fight (and a scuffle? it sure sounds like a scuffle..) between Rita and one person — a fight which we are told later resulted in the police being called. The tapes do not paint a good picture for Rita but it would be good to hear from her. Fox has flown the man who was there (and taped the conversations) to Washington, DC so that we could probe further.

Tonight we will play you tapes….and interview the man who was there in order to put them in context. Please also know that we have repeatedly invited Rita to join us to discuss the tapes and explain what, in her view, happened. So far she has declined. Of course she is not obligated to talk to us.

Anna Nicole’s Mom Sues Stern
Claim: Late model’s lawyer orchestrated televised defamation
OCTOBER 11—The mother of Anna Nicole Smith claims that her daughter defamed her in a television interview that was orchestrated by the late model’s lawyer/companion Howard K. Stern. According to a lawsuit filed by Virgie Arthur, Smith libeled her in an Entertainment Tonight interview during which she claimed that her mother was complicit in physical and sexual abuse when she was a child. In the complaint, Arthur contends that Stern conspired with Smith to make defamatory comments about her. The lawsuit, a copy of which you’ll find below, was filed Tuesday in Harris County District Court in Texas. Arthur alleges that Stern “influenced and controlled” Smith by providing her with prescription drugs, some of which were “obtained illegally” in Stern’s name. Arthur’s complaint also describes Stern as a “manipulative, deceitful, and dangerous person” and “not the type of man who was likely to have been selected by her daughter as a sexual partner.” Arthur also noted that she knew that Stern’s claim to be the father of Smith’s daughter Dannielynn was “highly unlikely because of the type of person Stern is.” In addition to Stern, Arthur is suing CBS Studios, which produces Entertainment Tonight, and a Houston TV affiliate which aired the allegedly defamatory comments last November. Arthur’s lawsuit does not specify monetary damages. (10 pages)

There is no doubt that Howard directed the "I Hate Mommy Video". Through most of it, he was right by her side and out of view.

But TWICE...he stepped into view..whispering rather loudly..."tell them you left this message on your mother's answering machine". I'd like to watch it again. I'd guess she's reading it off cards but Howard had left off the bit about the answering machine..

It would be nice...so nice...if they could document that no such call was ever made....OR that Virgie saved the tape. Howard might have made the video...just in case he had dialed the wrong number. I'd even go so far as to say that Anna wasn't talking at all and that it was a prerecorded ditty.

REMEMBER, ANSWERING MACHINES HAVE TIME LIMITS....and that video was VERRRRY LONG. What did Howard have to "insert" in the video that wasn't in the purported phone call. It must have something to do with custody. It was the initial dissing of Virgie.

You just can't trust tapes. They can be edited and/or made out of context at the push of a button.

It's the blanks you don't see. You have to watch the "TIME" on the frames. No time?? Be very wary.

I’m catching up on reading here. Thanks to all who posted regarding LKL and guests. I watched a couple of minutes until a close up of HKS, then I couldn’t stand anymore. I just saw a magazine article at the store that said “Daniel’s Inquest: Dig up the Body”. I thought “oh good” until I saw that it was the Globe. Wouldn’t it be great if they were onto something? And I had been avoiding Daniel’s dead photos, but thumbing through the mag I saw one of him with his baseball cap on. Won’t get that out of my head anytime soon.

Liz, you said last night that you were disheartened about the media and Rita. So am I. Greta evidently had Bain flown to Washington to be on her show tonight. But, it’s not ok for Rita to make arrangements with the nannies for financial compensation for avidavits or any expenses they might incur because of their testimonies? Howard pays (um, bribes is a better word for him)and no one says anything. Rita was setup and I hate that this has happened to her. I hope she comes back swinging hard. Greta’s show is history in my book. I think she’s throwing Rita under the bus for ratings.

Have not done the math, but the posters on Greta’s Blog include a high percentage of anti-Rita, pro-Stern suck-ups.

I suppose she does not care who posts, or what - there’s an awful lot of vicious garbage -with hardly any responses from her. Must be taking up too much of her time to read all the comments.

Greta’s blog is just another place for the Sternies to rant against anyone who is against their hero. Give it time and it will be as bad as TMZ. She didn’t seem like she believed Bain when he said Rita made advances to him, so why would she believe anything else he says? I don’t think I’ll be watching her show tonight.

I have been asked why Howard K. Stern won’t come on our show. What I have been told by someone close to him, and not him, is that he does not like me….he holds a grudge against me.

Here are the reasons (I am told):

1/ I continuously - from day one - said he should have the DNA swab of himself and the child. (Yes, this is true. I did say that. I said it often. I did not know who the father was but I thought it wise to just get it done. It would have saved hundreds of thousands of dollars…would have prevented much heartache….and it was inevitable that it would have to be done.)

2/ FNC (and our show in particular) - played Anna Nicole Smith in clown make up in a “questionable” state. Yes..we did that. We got the tape..and we played it. One issue throughout this entire saga has been her state of mind — including her state of mind during the time she was fighting Larry Birkhead over his paternity. At all times Howard K. Stern has been free to come on our show and object to our showing it, or telling us why we have it all wrong in his view.

3/ and finally my statements that Howard should get a job. Yes, I did say that. He is very well educated (a great law school) and - call me old fashion - but he should have gotten a job and not borrowed money from his retired parents to live. Incidentally - I would give that same advice to anyone else as I think working and being productive is a great thing — it also helps morale and helps one overcome personal tragedy. (In an odd twist, he may now make a substantial amount of money in his libel case against Rita Cosby unless she can come up with sources for some of the things she wrote.)

If Howard were to agree to do our show — and he has an open invitation - he would get a chance to talk to our audience. He knows that I would treat him with the utmost respect. People often disagree — but you don’t have to be disagreeable.

Right now neither Rita nor Howard has accepted my invitation…..and let me repeat: they each would be treated with respect and would have a chance to talk. And do you know what? I think they know that…
