Agree to get her pregnant?? Do you think she would really even think of a baby that looked like Howard?? It's called a sperm donor!...a "well paid" sperm donor. That's why I think that Jan 6 2006 agreement is one of the most important agreements that Larry signed.

IIRC, it didn't have Anna's signature on it...and I think Larry took it to an attorney and asked if it was valid...They said NO and then he went public as the baby's daddy.

Remember...any monies Larry was paid as a DONOR had to be "hidden". So what's new in the world of Howard?

Just more speculating here:
*HK$ was well aware of Anna’s desire to have a baby girl. *HK$ had no control over the *Hattens* in her life - I’m sure he didn’t want a repeat of that earlier episode.
*HK$ had LB’s CV and arranged the introduction! A perfect ploy! He looked right, he was not a potential husband and he needed money! LB could be easily absorbed into the *group* as Anna’s exclusive, personal photog. I’ll bet LB was HK$’ choice before he was Anna’s.

Fathers'Rights Groups don't have that kind of money either. Unlike women's causes, men's causes don't usually generate much support or sympathy mostly because men are expected to buck up and take care of themselves in this society. Also the men in Fathers' Rights Groups are usually in them for help with their own custody cases and these men are usually Dead Broke due to unreasonable court orders for excessive child support, alimony, etc. The problems with the courts are the main reason men join such groups.

For these same reasons Billy Wayne and even poor Daniel will not get much help from anyone.

MONEY. O'Quinn claimed long ago that LB was nothing but a sperm donor (apparently in the literal sense of the term). I believe it. Normally sperm donors are not entitled to custody of children conceived with their sperm. I wish someone would come up with a signed contract by LB and then take that baby from him. He's a pig.

A smidgen off topic. My neighbor just came over - I had loaned her my *Blonde Ambition* book. She has only read a couple of chapters..and although we have never discussed the case & are from totally different backgrounds, ages and culture - she is in complete agreement with our majority thread assessment. HK$ was not a *caretaker* but a taker, LB is a sperm donor, Virgie is the 3rd victim and DL the 4th victim of a diabolical, but naive, plan to access the Marshall millions.

What do we know about Daniel’s estate? Did Daniel have a trust fund or assets? Did he have a will? If he died without a will, surely his estate should have been probated and his biological father given some legal rights. I realize they were *estranged* but it is not uncommon to get property distributions from relatives’ estates whose names we may not even know...especially if the deceased has no direct heirs/offspring.

but what about any residuals or royalties off the movie, Illegal Aliens, and his appearances on the ANS show?? surely there had to be something there - even HKS got paid for the ANS show...and if so, that income belongs to his father, as surviving closest relative, i.e., parent.

If Daniel died intestate, both his mother and father would have been the correct beneficiaries of any estate he left, not just ANS. DL would only become a beneficiary of her brother if there were no surviving parents, as I understand it.

To exclude Bill, one would need a will, that specifically disinherited his father. But HKS has told us long ago there is no will, and it would be a bit uncomfortable for him to have to ‘produce’ one, a year after the fact, I’ imagine.

If Bill Smith wants to bring Daniel home after the inquest when the body is no longer ‘needed’, his body should also go to the father, again, as the surviving closest relative. (of course, burying ANS on TOP of Daniel was calculated to prevent such an attempt)

Also it seems to me, if Bill wanted to be real mean about it, he could sue the estate of ANS, for being intentionally deprived of Daniel for over 15 years, including the inability to receive his remains after the death of the mother.

Of course, I’m not an attorney, but it seems to me in the ‘rational world’ Bill is owed any estate of Daniel, and mucho reparations for being deprived of his son.

If LB is a sperm donor, a paid one, a contracted one, then how is one expected to feel about any such donor, who [basically ferrets out who his sperm went to, and] then hounds the trusting recipient for custody of ‘his’ child, breaking contracts with the recipient, while gayly signing future contracts for the exploitation of the fruit of his loom? ...is it, in fact, ‘his’ child in any sense of the word, then, if he is ‘just a donor’??

[Of course, the ‘confidentiality agreement’ is now ‘property of the estate’ and we can be sure every attempt will be made to keep it buried.] we can ask why HKS, never got around to hauling it out to sue LB, and “protect” ANS while she was pregnant, and why it took Seidlin’s court to discover it’s existence [IIRC], but I doubt we’d get an answer...

LB has now, what ANS had with Daniel and may have wanted with Dannielynn/HannaBelle - a child without another parent to interfer...and I wouldn’t doubt that even had ANS lived, LB would still be using DL as a photo-op-prop just as he is now, with the same claim, ‘I can do what I want, she’s my daughter [too]’, along with the accompanying fights in family court which would keep his name in the press.
