The Baha’s bathroom was the hospital staff’s story not howard’s.

I think if anything, he copied that real life image to use as his fake one.

I am not sure what you mean by Iframe thingy.

I have avg and MCaffee with the same hosts file you downloaded and have no problem. There should be nothing in the hosts file that would deal with AVG. AVG is by Grisoft and there is no hosts line for either. The hosts file is for Ads. Each line stops a website address from executing but giving it a dumby IP address of {127.0.0.1}instead of what they place on your pc to run. AVG is an appliation on your pc and does not run off an internet IP.

It is many lines but inside it just looks like this in part
127.0.0.1 ads.doubleclick.com
127.0.0.1 ads.infospace.com
127.0.0.1 ads.msn.com
127.0.0.1 ads.switchboard.com
127.0.0.1 doubleclick.net
127.0.0.1 ads.doubleclick.net

It could be the trojans it found causing the problem. As long as it is progressing I would let it run if it found trojans. You should NOT be surfing when running a virus scan! You could get false positives and remove a system file you actually need.

‘’’’I also changed the IFrame thingy. That’s all I’ve done. I wanted a way to tell it my bad popups, the addy’s, but I guess it doesn’t need them.’’’’

Forgot to say. When ever you download or make a change, it is a good idea not to make multiple changes at the same time. Always do one at a time and run a day or two so you know that change worked or not. Then you are wondering which change did what.

The HOSTS file you can look at yourself. Such do a search for HOSTS when the file comes ups, right click and say OPEN WITH.. open it with notepad and you can see the text file and all it contains. Anything with the pound sign # in front of it is a comment. You must leave the first line as LOCALHOST.. that can not change and is needed.

If you make an exact copy of that file only down and including the localhost line and safe it as hosts.bck for a back up file. If you think it is the hosts file causing problems you can rename your HOSTS file to hosts.ads and then rename the short file with just localhosts to hosts (not extension!!) just hosts and save it to
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc you will have the short file which is what you had before adding the ad block one.

127.0.0.1 localhost #this is not an ad server this is your PC

If you want to send me your phone number in email, I can call you and walk you thru it.

The FAQ said to disable IFrame in Internet Options because it is the main target of malware. So, I did.

It also said that because the hosts file is so large (I didn’t look at it), that it takes “some” anti-virus programs (remember, I have a FREE one) a very long time to scan against the list. That’s what is happening with mine.

I can’t wait a whole week to get online, sorry! It does the automatic scan every day - at least, it did until today, which is now going to take an entire week. I *try* not to do anything else online while it’s going, but sometimes do get on, anyway.

Anyway, that’s a ridiculous amount of time for a scan to take, so I will probably have to uninstall the AVG.

AND, what happened to all those theraputic drugs howie loaned her? Why no pills in her anywhere from those 11 bottles?

Why did her brain have signs of swelling? Why didn’t Perper say that it did? Or is this MARKED abnormal brain findings not worth his time? Maybe it is a disease but then he didnt mention one of those either.

‘’’If you love someone. You marry them. Larry’s “not quite right” was a poor excuse. ‘’’

Not true in today’s age but.. then did anna really ask him is the real question. If you study his stories on this, they
A. didn’t come up until after anna died.
B. versions of it change. First it was like the first night there were intimate and has he got more in love with himself on tv it grew into she asked him many times. Not bad for a guy that was kicked to the curb and she moved to another country to get away from huh.

I think it is his BS story. He added all kinds of stories and put words in anna’s mouth.. AFTER she was dead.

I don’t know. Perper said you sometimes get blood in the stomach from the tubes and EMT attempts.

All I know is I am going back over the autopsy and found it so I looked up the meanings and measurements. What I didn’t find is anything, not so much a a drug crystal out of all her drugs in her stomach or gastro/colon anywhere. How odd.

Taz said she found her at 12:30 originally. From what I can tell, she was dead at the very least 3 hrs before. Which means hks carried a dead woman to the potty.

‘’’’Perper said something about trauma from dying was what caused the blood in the stomach. I’d never heard that before and hadn’t seen in it other case autopsies, so I don’t really know what he meant.

Seems like everyone who dies would have blood in their stomachs if dying caused blood to collect there.’’’’’

Actually I believe Perper said the resuscitation efforts not dying causes them to find a small amount of blood sometimes. Damaging the tissues when inserting tubes etc. I don’t call six tablespoons a little in that context. If that was the case, every surgery pt would also be ‘damaged’ goods from the same ‘tubes’ being inserted.

What is really needed it an independant autopsy!!!

I wouldn’t uninstall it or knock it until you see what it found. Again, it could be the trojan’s causing it to slow down!!

Until you remove them and try it again you don’t know. Let it run while you sleep. Just turn off any screen savers and let it roar. you will be fine and sleeping :D

When you do a CTRL ALT DEL and get your task mgr APPLICATIONS tab, did you check to see what all is running? You might have something running that is a resource hog slowing up things.

Well, the bliss didn’t last long. There has always been something wrong with this puter’s “search” function, so I don’t use it.

But, I thought it was probably the best way to look for the “hosts” file, as you suggested. Bah!

The popups came back in droves and took over, then froze the puter. I had to shut down and reboot, and now everything is screwed up. Dammit. The AVG scan stopped, anyway, but now there is a msg when I open Windows saying something is wrong.

Never mind! I thought the downloaded hosts file thing and the other suggestion about the IFrame disabling had fixed it - they seemed to have.

The only problem was the long time the scan was taking. It had nothing to do with the Trojan horses it found - it finds them everyday and “heals” them, even sends me a big warning if something is threatening.

No, it was exactly what the FAQ on the “hosts” download said - that some anti-virus scans can’t handle the long list to check against - and this was one of them. I don’t know what I’m going to do now. I’m back to square one and have that new downloaded hosts file on here and I don’t know what it’s doing, since it’s not stopping the popups.

Aaarrggh!

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
That is where HOSTS file lives.
You can always open it with notepad and edit it to shorten it. Just make sure you leave the top one “localhosts”
Save changes.

Give me the name of one of two popups you are getting.

Can’t post anymore - the bad popup, “broadcaster” which tries to put a video on here, and can’t - shuts everything down. I’m giving up.

Look, every time I post, the popups start and then take over. I have to hand-delete over 100 files they put on my puter, each time.

One just happened just now and I have to go do that. If I leave them on here, it does cascading flurries of them.

This one is “broadcaster.com” but shows up as “adultfriendfinder.com” and “dreammate.com” and “vacationegg.com” and some other things.

When you get a Windows BOOT error, it is VERY important to always write down the exact error.

FAQ’s did not say AVG was one of them. I have AVG and the hosts file.. AVG runs fine with the host file. I only have a 80 Gig drive but it does fine. I have spy spot too. He talks about Zonealarm .. which IS goofy anyway.

I DO NOT schedule anything to run automatically ever!!!!
That is a good resource hog sucking up processor time when you do that. Just slows down your pc. I manually kick off my AVG and Spybot when I want them to run. Usually I just kick one off before I go to bed. Screen saver has to be turned off. I do not scan everyday.

I’m telling you, even though it did NOT fix my problem, AVG had at least made a dent in it and it was working fine for what it is, BEFORE today, the first time it ran a scan AFTER the new hosts file was downloaded.

Then it hung up and took 14 hours to scan 3000 objects out of 40,000, a process that normally takes from 45 minutes to 1 hour. It had been doing that every morning since July 1.

Geez, 80 gigs. I don’t even have 1 gig. This is a nightmare. It’s popping again. I don’t know where these sleazebag websites came from, but there are 100s of them.

It started when I clicked on a ProWrestling Mag link on FR which was to a video, but wasn’t labeled as such. Everything came from that. In 3 years, I had never had a single problem until these popups and popunders and hijackers started. They are also somehow tied in with google, as it’s always in the mix when I erase the cookies.

The bad ones are these that won’t close, and then MS shuts down all my open windows and the browser itself. I’ve had 4 while writing this, so many many files to delete.

I understand you believe that. I also know you have not been error free and had this problem before the hosts file.

You can easily change the hosts file back like I said by editing it if you didn’t make a back up of the old one.

No matter what you do, it is clearly a trojan/worm/virus that keeps replicating. It can also keep reproducing everytime you reboot.

It will not just go away. We know that. It takes time and methodical steps to get rid of them. It could even be IN your HOSTS file populating itself to restart long before today. Some are written to actually change the Winsock file and even STOP antivirus software from running completely! That is how they write them to keep them destructive. The point is, it was never gone. This problem has been around in various forms for years.

If you have a tool bar like google or yahoo , UNINSTALL it for now.

Here is an example of what one person went thru with a similiar problem. DO Not follow the fix! this is just an example to show it is not a 1,2 quick fix or blame problem.

Please hear me. This is stressing me out to have to keep explaining and stopping popups at the same time, then deleting all those cookie files. I can’t breathe.

I am not saying that the hosts file download is causing the popups. I am saying that every single day, the AVG program I put on for free when this all started, has scanned my files, looking at 40,000 objects, and it always takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. Always. Every day.

Last night, I downloaded the hosts file download at that link you gave me.

Today, AVG started an automatic scan while I was asleep and it was still scanning 14 hours later and had only gotten to 3000 objects.

I had surfed around the ‘Net, posted, google searched, several things, tonight which I had not been able to do in many weeks without popups and hijacks.

I attributed that to the hosts file download. Then I noticed the AVG still going and going. I recalled that the FAQ on the hosts file download page had said that *some* anti-virus programs have a hard time with the new hosts file being put on, as it is quite a large list.

It is very much my deduction that since this is the first time AVG has taken an inordinate amount of time to scan and since it’s the first time I’ve had that new hosts file downloaded onto my puter, that’s PROBABLY what caused the hangup!

Then my blasted “search” function screwed up everything. The AVG scan went off, everything froze and I had to shut down, then reboot. I will deal with this later. I’m very sick.

I agree. He copied it. Makes it easy to remember. What you think you would hear is: I gave her some tea to drink and checked her temperature. She said she was feeling okay but kinda weak. He said NOTHING about giving her fluids. I find that strange....very strange. It's a BIG thing as we all know.

When did Howard talk to KE? The change of time (3 hours) makes it probable that it was AFTER 9 AM in Florida. I'm not sure that he even mentioned KE's call(s) and we didn't know that until much later when SHE said it.

“””Billy should not have any influence in FL at all! I don’t know if he is a dead beat Dad, retarded, ex druggie, or just plain poor but .. his part in Daniel’s life and burial were almost none existant.”””

And why do you suppose that was? Could it have been a result of Anna’s & Virgie’s domineering personalities?

Billy was a 16 year-old fry cook when he impregnated the 17 year old Anna - they were married for 2 years when Anna divorced him and ‘took’ Daniel to Virgie for raisin’. It was probably understood that womenfolk were the natural ‘child raisers’ and 18-year old Billy just acquiesced.

In his defense, he is still only about the same age as Birkhead & Stern. He has never been interviewed or asked about his life after Anna. I don’t believe he was ever a “kept leech”. It’s possible he was not even notified of Daniel’s death, by Anna, or asked for his input in the burial plans. Billy was treated worse than a sperm donor - not a former husband and legitimate father of a son who was kept from him.

But, surely under the law - in Florida -as the legal surviving parent he should have been permitted to make a statement of his wish to have Daniel’s body removed to the US - not ignored (as Virgie was also) in favor of an unrelated leech and an unproven parent of a minor child.

Seidlin’s pro-celebrity bias was an insult to all urban, rural, working and middle class, normal, decent people. In fact, his decision could be thrown out on that basis alone - he was soliciting for his own celebrity.
