The cases you cite were certainly sensational and as you also mention ....modern forensics may have dictated a more accurate/different cause & manner of death(s).

My distress is with the seeming epidemic of gruesome murders of young women by their spouses/BFs/strangers.

I don’t recall as many Laci Peterson, Lori Hacking, Nicole Simpson, Jessie Davis, Natalee Holloway, Shandra Levy type cases in the 50’s, 60’s or 70’s....maybe my memory is selective.

All I'm really trying to say is that isn't it strange that there was the 1-03-06 agreement as it correlates to the pregnancy....and that it never got into the media before the Supreme Court Case was decided....months later.

We don't know if Dannie Lynn was really conceived on Jan 1st. It's only what Larry has said....and geez...I'm having a hard time believing stuff that he has said....which can't be proven..and conception is one of those things.

And just because you see a date on something like the 1-03-06 agreement doesn't make it so. (The faxing date of the will is another REAL GOOD example.)

Then there's Virgie....Who nurtured both Anna and Daniel. How her heart must hurt. How cruel everyone who worked against her was. No compassion in this world? She's the one that lost part of her heart with the deaths of Anna and Daniel. And no one cares?

The media is soooo different now. Everyone is after “sensationalism”. It sells.

I think newspapers always went for the sensational but coverage was restricted to local papers, radio and TV.

Of course, when there were only 3 national TV networks - and the nightly news programs were just 30 minutes - (with a few exeptions) crime coverage was also limited.

Is there an increase in domestic violence/murder or just the perception? Population growth?

Interesting the perceptions media leaves from the way they sensationalize these cases nowadays. Looking at the actual data though, there is a decline in murders of woman by intimates. Just as movies were not as graphic in the decades of the past, it was also not ‘popular’ for the news to sensationalize such things is probably more the reason than anything.

I tried sod, sigh.

I am a big believer in - don’t complain if you won’t take the time to try and make change. We have to at least try is how I feel. Might now win but without concerted efforts it is a guarantee nothing will be looked at.

You know, it is funny in a way. Most days I just want to walk away from all this. It isn’t even challenging or interesting to me anymore. It is frustrating and sickening. It would be easiest to simply stick my head in the sand and let it go. But, that is what evil wants, it wants to wear us down.

hmmmmm...i just dont know what to think about alot of this...like why Daniel died, why ANS died, why HKS seems to get away with everything, why Larry is buds with Howie, and why Larry would want HKS in Dannielynn’s life. I was so happy to see her get away from that man, and now old uncle Howie is hangin around again...IMO i just dont like it
