I’ll bet Larry and Howie are praying that interest in the death of ANS dwindles so they can get down to business.
I hope Virgie hasn’t given up, but I can understand if she has to, due to financial reasons.

Wasn’t the inquest suppose to reconvene tomorrow? I believe the press in the Bahamas is government controlled. Apparently the only thing that isn’t controlled are the government officials. I’d say that each of them has something on the other...creating a nice balance.

I had June 26th as a new date for the inquest, too - but never got a confirmation on that. The news articles all said July 16th. If it does start tomorrow, I’m up a creek without my 3rd revised Case Name List finished!
There have been thunderstorms nearly every waking minute for me the past week, plus more right now and more expected tomorrow. I get so tired of turning everything off and then starting all over again.
I’ve got it down to counting the seconds between lightning and thunderclap now to decide if it’s close enough to shut down.
OTOH, my two earlier modem mishaps were long after the thunder had died down. They tell you to wait at least an hour. I’ve never had that long “after” thunder during all these rounds of it! It starts up again too soon.

June 26 will mark the date set for mention, meaning a date will be picked for the inquest to officially resume.
Currently, Howard is appealing the jury selection in the inquest, asking that his attorneys be allowed to submit a special questionnaire for the screening process. They have argued that it would be impossible to secure an impartial jury due to the publicity surrounding Anna Nicole and Daniel’s deaths — rendering the entire proceeding unconstitutional.
Forty witnesses are on the list for the inquest, which is expected to include testimony from a hospital nurse who may claim that she noticed two white tablets on the bed where Daniel died — one that turned out to be methadone.
ET has obtained the full witness list for the inquest, and Anna Nicole is listed (as Vickie Lynn Marshall); a statement will be presented in the late model’s absence. The list also confirms that Anna’s partner, Howard, has been summoned, as well as LARRY BIRKHEAD, the biological father of Anna’s baby, DANNIELYNN.
“I’m just here to do what’s right, to help Daniel,” he told ET. “I’m here to give the truth.”
Also included on the complete witness list are Anna’s former friends, G. BEN THOMPSON and FORD SHELLEY, and her reported former physician, DR. SANDEEP KAPOOR. The police photographer has been called to testify, as were various employees from Doctors Hospital, which is where Daniel died. Each witness is entitled to bring their own attorney.

I’ll bet the list has changed and neither Howard or Larry will appear for the inquest. I think the police statement will say how wonderful Howard was and a lot of blah, blah, blah. I’ll bet Howard made a video of it....and it will bring a nice penny.
KE is missing from all the lists and yet, she was with Daniel in Ca shortly before he left for the Bahamas.
When we go to the beach or to Charleston, we take a box of Bounce with us and rub ourselves good with sheets of it to keep the "no see ums" and mosquitoes away. Have you tried that when you are working?

Yes, I agree with both of you...he's no longer cute - if he ever was! He looks like he needs a good scrubbing and a decent haircut and shave. His looks never really appealed to me...too effimanent-looking for my taste.
I think he must be trying to distance himself from accusations he's bisexual by showing up with different women. It was reported he might be going to marry the blonde Dana Lynn who he grew up with, but he was seen leaving Mr. Chow's with a brunette.
We're having a thunder storm here, so I better get off and start getting things ready for bridge club tomorrow night. I have two back to back appointments tomorrow, so it has to be done today!
I think we're on to his game now. He did the opposite of what we all thought. There is no sweet Kentucky Home. There is no loss of love and/or respect for Howard or KE. Larry's real threat WAS Virgie. He and Howard took care of that little matter.
Anna didn't know what the hell was going on for the last year. And as far as her wishes...If I could have one wish for her, I'd say "I wish she had never met Howard." I think both Daniel and Anna would be alive today.
What a great story it COULD HAVE been. Anna Nicole, after secretly hiring a detective and an accountant, has sued her FORMER attorney for embezzling a total of $18 million dollars from her funds and criminal charges have been filed. Her son Daniel, her mother Virgie and her aunt were at her side as she walked into court.
OK, I just have to jump in here about the insect bites and such! I used to be a mosquito’s wet dream! LOL! One time a mosquito got into my car and bit me several times. Finally, I killed it with a napkin and that thing left a blood stain in the shape of a circle that was at least an inch in diameter!! Needless to say, I’m not an ‘outdoorsy’ person! BUT, a couple of years ago, I changed my diet and cut back drastically on carbs, and a welcome side-effect has been that mosquitos no longer bite me! Isn’t that odd?!!
LOL!! I watched that movie last week on late night TCM (Turner Classic Movies)! That’s always been one of my favorite stories...such a good example of the vice of vanity! LOL!
