Thread Number 3
Two things: Erasers up! Now comes report from The Bahamas that the inquest date is Mon., July 16, instead of Tue., July 17, according to Bahamian TV news of last night.
There may also be an administrative meeting, lawyers and principals only, on May 30. That was the hearing date I had written down all along, but I seemed to be the only one who knew it, lol! I thought May 22 was the appellate hearing and May 30 was to begin the inquest. *wrong*
And grain of salt time, but at least it might answer a question we’ve had:
~~~~~
Tonight, in part two of ET special correspondent ART HARRIS’ exclusive interview, Larry Hart [Celeria Jenkines] opens up about the loss of the little girl he used to know.
“I was sad at first, then angry,” says Larry about Anna Nicole’s death. “I was seeing the reality then. I became very, very angry, because all you have to do is say, ‘That’s enough.’ You can’t just keep taking a pain pill over and over, because this is what’s going to happen to you. I tell you, when I saw [Anna] at [that awards show] on TV having to be carried off the stage, I took that as a cry for help.”
Growing up with Anna in a house of five children, Larry says his step-sister was always dreaming big.
“She liked to sing, and she was always going to be a star,” he says. “She was off being in her daydreaming world.”
But one day tragedy struck: Their younger brother, DONALD, just two years old, accidentally shot himself in the head. Anna Nicole’s mother (and Larry’s step-mom), VIRGIE, had just come from the 7-11 where she worked. Inside her purse was a .22 pistol she used for protection, and she put the purse on her bed.
“[Donald] went to climb up on the bed, or knocked the purse down, and the gun went off inside the purse,” explains Larry, “and went in [his leg], and in [his arm], and lodged in his head and to the brain. They say the gun went off inside the purse.”
“[Anna], I think she was in her room; she just stood there and stared,” he recalls. “I was in the kitchen cooking French fries for supper and I heard a ‘pow.’ I ran in there, and [Donald] was standing there, stomping at two years old, and Virgie was hollering, ‘Call the ambulance!’ and I ran and picked up the phone. I said, ‘I don’t know how,’ so she grabbed [Donald] in a rag, put him in my arms and we got in the car and went to the emergency room. And then [Virgie] went into shock at the hospital and they had to give her some kind of tranquilizers. [Virgie] never talked about it after that.”
Miraculously, Donald pulled through. But sadly, the accident was just one more incident in a string of unfortunate events in Larry’s life, which continues to this day with his stay in prison.
>>>>I see that this report says there were 5 children in VA’s home with Hart. I am a little confused about the brother Robert and whether he was Jenkines, as in a full brother of Celeria (Larry Dale) Jenkines/Hart, or if he was born Robert Hart, a half-brother to Celeria and a full brother to Shana Lynn Hart.
Robert was reported in the book, Great Big Beautiful Doll, by Eric Redding. I found people who fit both qualifiers as the son Robert, so can’t know for sure unless he’s confirmed by a family member.
Still tracking Shana’s several husbands. She is said to have married millionaires and currently with a “multimillionaire” - but I found that the first husband is a waiter and I am having trouble pinning down the status of the next two husbands, so not sure about the accuracy of that. There are allegedly two children, which I’ve half-confirmed (found the children’s reported births, not sure they’re hers). More as I find it!
I’m not sure. I think that we will know after May 30 what the deal is, whether it’s thrown out or kicked upstairs or whatever. I think that’s what the 2 months “space” is for - for it to play out. Of course, I could be wrong, lol!
Seems like it was down to choosing whether or not HKS’s attorneys (and possibly others witnesses’ attys) could do actual voir dire on the jurors or whether there could just be a written questionnaire used.
Great research Rte66.
So that’s the story of the accidental shooting.
It’s at least good to hear it from someone who was actually there, FWIW.
I’m still not clear about the outcome, as I thought the boy was paralyzed. They showed a photo of him that appeared to be from a prison situation, so I’m still confused. I know we’ve read a lot of different items about Donald Ray Hart Jr.’s criminal charges, but I just couldn’t ever square them with someone who was bedridden or in a wheelchair.
If his main injury was brain damage and the paralysis mentioned was just temporary, that’s a totally different story. I thought Virgie said in Seidlin’s court that this boy lived next door to her now, but I’ve never really checked to find out.
I was kind of shocked when I had to read some of the details on a blog by a Stern supporter that HKS’s official stance on the inquest is that he wants it cancelled!
I mean, yes, he has done everything possible to delay it, but I can’t fathom why someone who purported to love ANS and care about Daniel would not want the inquest to happen! ANS wanted it, so what happened to “Anna’s wishes”? My jaw is still dropped over this revelation and it’s not from rigor - I don’t think!
ET is on now and for some reason, all their “facts” are different from what the inmate Celeria is actually saying (he says Donnie was 2, they scream in headlines that he’s a 3-year-old; Celeria says Virgie did the best she could, ET screams that her house was out of control; on and on).
OH - now I didn’t see that one! How in the world do they all eat for that little money! Wow. They need to write a book on how to live frugally.
P.S. At the end of Celeria’s interview, the voice-over said that his mother had been imprisoned for bank robbery. That was the first I’d heard of what the charges were about.
I wish I could confirm that the brother Robert who was in GBBD exists, altho that would round out the number of children to 6, which is the number VA was said to have raised (Seidlin hearing). I was also kind of surprised to see that Donnie Hart (Jr) was a big, strapping, very large man, when I had been picturing a small wheelchair-bound person.
Still, think about the situation. Here I had been thinking how nice it was of Donald Hart (tho I know absolutely nothing about him) to take in VA’s two children when she and he married, not knowing the rest of the story, at the start.
Can you imagine Virgie then taking in her new husband’s child or children (Shana and maybe Robert) AND his stepchild or stepchildren (Celeria and maybe Robert)? She deserves a pat on the back just for that, even tho I’m sure at the time, it was probably the only possible scenario.
Of course, lots of people do that every day, but in my mind, they all deserve applause for it. From other things I read, it seems this Celeria did go back to live with “his mother’s family.” He said himself that when he got into trouble (burglary) at age 19, in 1979, he drifted away from ANS’s family. Hmm, away from a sheriff’s deputy’s household? Shocking, lol.
Hee hee - he’ll probably ask them to call him *His Sternship* in court. And if they won’t? He’ll appeal!
Has anyone read this story? It’s about a British family whose 2 year old son was killed in the Bahamas, and his death was ruled an ‘accident’. It doesn’t make me feel too great about how the Inquest might go, IF it ever does happen! The details are nothing like Daniel’s death, but the family doesn’t seem too ‘thrilled’ with the way the Bahamian Justice System has worked.
" ... After the toddlers death was initially ruled an accident in the 2003 Coroners Inquest into the incident, the Gallaghers continued to fight to have the investigation reopened.Subsequent inquiries produced new evidence that led to the manslaughter charges ..."
It sounds similar to Aruba, where they start with questioning and then letting people go and they don't advance a case *unless and until* any *new evidence* just miraculously appears.
Victims of crimes should not have to fight so hard to have their concerns addressed. Evidence is always evidence - it isn't "new" just because the investigators haven't done their jobs.
Like Anna Nicole's death investigation - the evidence is plainly there that further questioning needed to be done, from the abscess to the chloral hydrate to the circumstances of a similar recent death in the immediate family, the latter of which was not addressed at all - except as an "excuse" for ANS to be self-medicating.
Anna's death is most assuredly "new evidence" that needs to be explored in Daniel's inquest, but will it be? Apparently not.
I agree with you in every way! But doesn’t it make you feel even less hopeful about the Inquest into Daniel’s death? I guess I was really hopeful that the Bahamas would do the right thing as far as Daniel’s death. Now, I just feel ANGRY that so many young people get MURDERED, and no one or no COUNTRY (or Indian Reservation, for that matter) wants to be bothered with it! It just makes me SICK!
I guess I keep looking for Justice ‘in all the wrong places’!! How SAD!!
Well, Aunt BonBon is apparently still alive and has now weighed in on the topic so many people have wanted to know: what it’s like to be famous as HKS’s sister.
I know I’ve been holding my breath until this bit of wisdom was unleashed on the world:
This case has also made me lose confidence in MEs. There was Wechts meltdown - not to mention previous charges against him and Perker's total incompetence. In addition, now the scandal involving Dr. Henry Lee - what a mess.
ACK...gag me! Just look at that photo...now is that how two people really “in love” on their wedding day kiss. That’s the fakest kiss I’ve ever seen! LOL
Hi everyone...just stopped in to say hello! Hope you are all doing well! I see we will have to wait until July for an inquest if there even IS one. HKS doesn’t want it (no surprise there) and since the Bahamas originally didn’t want one either, I’m afraid it may never happen unless Virgie really pushes for it!
Anyway have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!
Kim
As far as I know, the transfer to Nicole never occurred, i.e., it was not recorded.
Deals fall through all the time and most of the time, it is because of the mortgage failing.
Not only that, if Anna's intention was to de-fraud in the first place which seems to be the case, (including the residency issue itself), someone should go to jail. (And I mean Howard).
Same stuff she pulled with Old Man Marshall....IMOW..."He said he was gonna give me that much, too.".
If anyone wants to view Anna’s movie Illegal Aliens online freep mail me. I watched about 35 minutes last night. From the bit that I saw Anna and Chyna were horrible. Anna doing that little girl “act” reminiscent of the Riley Shelley video.
