Thread Number 3
Sample? Hass is brunette and Brown is blonde. Guess how I remember that.
Ha, speaking of Seidlin - Law & Order had their own version of the “crying judge” on tonight.
Unfortunately, he was overseeing his first murder trial - and it was a very important one (so important that Jack McCoy, the main trial DA under Fred Thompson, the big DA, turned in his letter of resignation over it - but Fred gave it back at the end). A violent Senator had stabbed his daughter to death and tried to say it was self-defense.
The crying judge was Jeffrey Tambour, who is always funny. I swear, I thought he was the one on L.A. Law who wore ladies’ underwear, but it doesn’t show up in his imdb entry. I don’t have cable, so haven’t seen Arrested Development or the Larry Sanders Show, which he was also in.
Anyway, he had come from surrogate court, which I guess in NYC is like probate court or family court - it’s whatever Seidlin and Korda did in FL. To come from that to a murder case, especially this high-profile one, put him way out of his element.
He cried over all the problems of the Senator’s grown children (brats) and over the death of the Senator’s wife, which had also just happened (I think the daughter did it). His crying was just over-the-top wailing! Very funny, tho not supposed to be - ya had to have seen Seidlin to really appreciate it!
OH NO... I missed it!! BUT I will be looking for that one in the repeats! It sounds good! And I think Jeffrey Tambour is really funny!
Speaking of repeats...they have already repeated the STUPID Law & Order, CI based on ANS!! I saw it the other day (AGAIN) on USA!! To me, that one was NOT worth repeating for a while!!
Gotta go to bed, so I can get up for my ‘concession stand duty’ tomorrow...Have a good night...and I’ll talk to you again soon!!
Have fun while I slog through files! And just think, HKS is in the “south of France” getting to salivate over the competing ANS billboards at the entrance to the film festival. Ugh!
I bet we’re both having more fun than that sleazeball.
Man, I forgot all about that! That was one of the reasons I even checked in tonight!! So, has there been a HKS siting in Cannes yet? Let me know, when I check back tomorrow! Good Night!
Now that makes sense. Thanks.
His lips are all loose like bill clinton’s and he kept licking his lips. He reminded me so much of bill clinton the first time I saw him interviewed. Right then and there, I decided that I wouldn’t trust him.
Well, this episode will always get some viewers who just want to see the "plumped up" Kristy Swanson! (That's why I watched it on its first broadcast!) |
Indirectly, yes. Directly, no.
He’s employed by ET, which is a CBS-Paramount Productions vehicle, and Seidlin was signed as a CBS consultant, so that may be why.
They don’t always adhere to straight network affiliations, as ET is seen on NBC in my area - but you get the corporate drift, there.
No, just a similar situation. If I don’t hear from the other FReeper today, I’ll go ahead with it. It’s just that the story is incomplete as I know it now.
Ya know, it’s just the most amazing thing. Lots of news and entertainment outlets have been covering nearly every angle on Cannes this year - and yet ... and yet ... I have not seen HKS once, not even walking backwards.
Bet his excellent French adventure will be one of those “lost tapes” that gets found by ET later on, whaddayabet?
Well, I haven’t heard back from the FReeper, so I’ll post what I have about one of Bruce S. Ross’s past “cases.” It concerned a man named Rami Rodriguez, whose wife engaged the firm Ross was then with, Holland & Knight.
Start here, with this FR thread from May 2005:

The ramisrangers website is shut down, so I couldnt find out what happened beyond that.
Yesterday, I read this post on the TMZ board:
~~~~~
“This man who wanted a divorce from his younger wife, subsequently starved to death. His wife inherited millions from his estate.
Who was the Attorney that handled the Conservatorship - Why its Mr. Ross. Thats right the same Mr. Ross who appeared on Larry King represented Howard K. Stern in the current Probate issue.
Friends who loved Dr. Rami Rodriguez, hold Attn. Ross responsible for his death. Mr. Ross made a lot of money off his estate.
Sound familiar”
~~~~~~~~
I found the death notice for Rami in the SSDI - he had died in Aug 2006. So, I FReepmailed the person who had told me earlier that Ross was bad news and I offered my condolences and asked what happened.
I thought maybe I could find an archive copy of the ramisrangers website in the Wayback Machine, but it too (the last postings on the RR website) only goes to May 2005.

...So I at least copied this, from that website archive, because Ross hadn’t been mentioned much - but from what I found in the archive of the RR website, he did play a big part in the sad saga:
~~~~~~
BJORKLUND ROBERT L. - Probate Referee
ROSS BRUCE S. ESQ. - Attorney for Petitioner
RUTTENBERG GARY M. ESQ. - Attorney for Petitioner
Anyway, I asked the FReeper to come post here, but maybe that’s asking too much about a sad situation. At least this gives us another look at the guy who has been on Anna’s “team” since March, thanks to Stern and Rale.
