I have only gotten through the first 3 paragraphs and I know it’s a barfer. Howie is going to claim Bahamas residency for ANS, Horizons as her home, a bunch of jewelry - and upwards of $2 million in assets there!!!
LOL!!! Sounds like me lately!! Although, I CAN drive, just don’t want to....which is probably the case with ANS too. I think she COULD drive, since she had a Texas Driver’s License, but she didn’t WANT to drive, especially in LA, and especially if she could get someone else to do it for her!
If anything, I cannot fault her for that. When I keep hearing all this BS about Paris Hilton and her DUI, I want to scream...”How SAD is it that Anna Nicole Smith had the ‘clarity’ of mind to NEVER drive since she was almost always in an impaired state, and Paris Hilton, who has a LOT more money than ANS, continues to get behind the wheel of a car, regardless of her state of mind or the state of her driver’s license, which was suspended!!”
Call me CRAZY, but I do believe that Anna Nicole Smith with her 8th Grade Education and SEVERE drug problems, had more sense than a lot of other ‘celebritites’ I’ve read about lately! Looking for ‘common sense’ in HollyWEIRD is equivalent to looking for a needle in a haystack!
BTW, I’ve read quite a bit about “Munchausen by proxy” and never ONCE did it enter my mind about this case, until you mentioned it. But now I think you are REALLY onto something!! Way to go, RTE!! I would have never put 2 and 2 together, but your theory makes A LOT OF SENSE! Usually, ‘sufferers’ (that’s a funny term considering THEY aren’t the ones that suffer) of MBP are WOMEN and/or ‘caregivers’, so it never entered my mind as far as HKS, but I had a “Gotta have a V-8” moment when you mentioned it, because it really DOES seem to fit here, as far as the relationship between Anna and HKS!! That was a really good catch, and it also got me thinking how DANGEROUS HKS could be to Dannielynn! It’s really very frightening to think that he may, and very possibly will, be a part of her life. It makes me sick actually!
BTW, I once read a book about a woman who had Munchausen by Proxy and she ended up killing 10 of her 11 children!! Did you ever read that book? It was a long time ago, and the children were possibly born in the 30’s or 40’s (I can’t remember exactly). The most shocking part of it was that her husband BELIEVED her until the end, and supported her even after she was caught. I think it was one of my Mom’s ‘true crime’ books she used to read, and I read it as a teenager.
I do remember the case, but don’t think I read the book about it. There was another similar one that was more recent than that (but not “recently” as in “lately”) with 4-5 kids and SIDS deaths.
Seems like once a month or so we hear about someone faking their child’s cancer to get money - or sympathy or attention. Oh, that one woman recently (as in “lately”) who had her child fake being retarded for years and years! That was ghastly.
There was one person who wrote about this ANS saga when HKS was still holding the baby for ransom and said that Howie reminded him of those women who cut the babies out of pregnant women’s bodies to keep them as their own.
When the Munchausen Dx just hit me like a ton of bricks the other day, I remembered what that guy had written - and noted how much HKS’s “activities” are more like things that historically, more women have perpetrated than men have.
I wonder if I can find some notes on that ANS Show episode where his parents allegedly told the world about his, umm, testosterone problem.
I don’t know HOW you find all this stuff, BUT after reading this, I’m now wondering if Ford Shelley and G. Ben Thompson haven’t been convinced to buy into the “DEAL” by HKS!! Think about it, I’m not sure how much G. Ben Thompson paid for the ‘Horizons’ property, but he was only anticipating that ANS would pay him $900,000.00 for it. NOW, the house is supposedly worth $15 million!! Is the real estate market THAT GREAT in the Bahamas, or does the price have something to do with the ‘notority’ of the property?? HAS HKS gotten to G. Ben and Ford Shelley as well? Is he telling them that if he gets Horizons, the sale price will be more valuable than if they get it? Has HKS made a ‘deal’ with G. Ben and Ford to ‘share the wealth’ if everything ‘goes down as HKS wants it too’?? If G. Ben bought the house for $900,000 and HKS is guaranteeing him a ‘half or third’ of the profits ‘if the house is marketed as ANS’s home’, his profit would be anywhere between $5.1 million and $6.6 million. That’s a PRETTY good profit for ANY big real estate person!! I don’t know if HKS’s DEAL making is that long reaching, but I wouldn’t doubt it. Anyway, it should be interesting to see how the Horizons property lawsuit plays out in the Bahamas!
If it plays out in HKS’s favor, I will ‘officially’ believe that the ‘conspiracy’ I never wanted to believe, is absolutely TRUE! And I also believe that any hope of justice I had for DANIEL and Anna will never happen.
AND THAT IS WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!
At that point, I may have to go to the Bahamas myself to make sure the Inquest goes on!!! LOL~~ Or if not to the Bahamas, I may have to go to Texas and ‘hold Virgie up’ to make sure she DOES NOT QUIT!!!!!
Wow, I would not have thought of GBT and Ford being in on any Horizons deal, but stranger things have happened. I for one don’t believe for a minute that the house will sell for the $10 million they think it will.
I believe when they got it at the fire sale price because of the foreclosure, most appraisals put it in the $3 million range, top-end - others more like $2 mil.
It’s pretty obvious now that any “popularity” ANS may have enjoyed in life has slowed to a trickle because of the *pardon me* overkill on the coverage of her death.
Of course, I said about the German guy who bought the diaries for $500,000, before he surfaced, no one with the amount of money needed for that would be lowbrow enough to want it!
I think with all 3 people, HKS, GBT and Ford, it’s kind of like how I feel about “my” football team, ya know? They’re always #1 to me - and Anna was “their” very own “star” celebrity, so they think she hung the moon, when the rest of the planet doesn’t really give a rodent’s patootie.
But, I sit here with dropping jaw at the gall of Stern to pretend ANS’s residency is legit and to pretend that this house belongs to her. I just do not *get* where he can possibly get away with this. Why can’t anyone stop this maniac?
I was about to say the same thing as you, SundayG, re: what the probate court will do and the unlikely scenario of being able to judge-shop in this instance.
Yikes- probate for 6 years? Can you say, in general terms if possible, the reasons it took so long? I thought about a trust for a while, but the expense of setting one up when we had little didn’t make much sense to me. But, I’m interested in learning if it could make sense for my elderly father. Thanks.
You are so right! When I think about it now, it seems almost ‘eerie’! HKS was ALWAYS the one trying to ‘protect’ Anna, and he was always the one to ANNOUNCE if anything was going on with her, and HOW everything should be interpreted!! Just think how long it took for her ‘pregnancy’ to be announced! HKS went back and forth about it and finally ANNA herself announced it on her website (via webcam without HKS present), then HKS ‘announced it officially’!! I still think that HKS was hoping for another ‘miscarriage’ since it’s been reported that he doesn’t even like children, and even a new born child would be a threat or a ‘rival’ to him.
So RTE, with that thought in mind, I think that YOU may have discovered YET another type of psychopath! Yes, Munchausen by Proxy could most definitely apply, considering the relationships with HKS, Anna, and Daniel. BUT, I think “Munchausen-In-Vitro by Proxy” is also relevent in HKS’s case! So, in my very humble opinion, you have discovered yet another psychological ‘disorder’. It is now deemed “Munchausen-In-Vitro by Proxy” or MIVP bc that applies to HKS as well! Good job, Rte!
I’m sending a copy of this post to the AMA, so they may be contacting you for interviews! Although in my opinion, you should not wait for them to contact you for your very obvious accomplishments. Hopefully, they will be ‘reeling’ from reading about all of the absolutely, un-freaking-believable actions of one Dr. K. EROSHEVICH of Studio City, California.

Well, if we consider Anna Nicole the “child” in the situation and HKS the “caregiver,” it becomes obvious, to me.
ANS was already given to her own forms of factitious disorder, exaggerating some injuries or illnesses, as an excuse for the drugs, and HKS’s own bizarre needs just played right into that.

I noticed in the Nancy Grace transcript that when NG had Mark Bain (probate attorney) on the ropes, he actually ADMITTED that in certain cirmcumstances (including the circumstances of ANS) that the will would not be upheld and the decendent would die ‘in testate’.
I honestly hope that is how the courts determine ANS’s Estate. If the Will is deemed to outdated or inadmissable or not valid, I will be happy about that. I understand, as another FReeper posted, that more money and/or fees will go to the County and/or Courts, but I prefer that to the money going to HKS! If the will is probated intestate, there is more likelihood that the facts will come out, as far as HOW and WHERE the money went. I would prefer to see that, even if it meant that LA county would get a substantial cut of the ‘as yet non-existent money’!!
Yes, the ‘whole picture’ is getting clearer and clearer! And to add to it, if some people couldn’t see HKS as a person having MBP, just look at who he alligned himself with! Dr. Kristine Eroshevich! Who better than a doctor, to allign yourself with, if you have MBP! It’s really WEIRD, and unbelievably REAL, in the fact that it happened!!

I guess that is what amazes me as well! HOW is HKS able to continue to do everything he wants to do?? My ‘thoughts’ about G. Ben and Ford come from the fact that neither of them have been ANYWHERE in the media, and perhaps that they MAY be concerned about the ‘break-in’ at Horizons. If, in fact, it was G. Ben or Ford who ‘broke in’ to get Anna’s belongings, maybe they are worried that their case will not stand up in the Bahamian Courts, and maybe they are concerned that it will have a negative impact on the Horizons case. At this point, I do not see any WAY that HKS can claim ownership of Horizons, a home that neither he nor ANS ever paid a dime for!!
So, I have to wonder if HKS either has a DEAL with G. Ben and Ford, or he has the biggest BALLS on the face of the earth to try to pull off everything he tries to pull off! I’m also wondering, just out of curiosity, if the latter is true, if HKS’s member somehow manifested itself into a BALL all it’s own!! LOL....just a joke guys! We all know, he NEVER had a member anyway! But THREE balls....that’s a definite possibility!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was reading the link at artharris. Wonder why HKS can file probate on a will in the Bahamas. Wouldn’t an executor just file either where she died. Why in California? I think it is because he knows that the Bahamas probably woldn’t give him rights as administrator.
I was reading the NG transcript and they also said that the assets could be amended. I guess when HKS got into what was her asset he would (wonder of wonders) find a bunch of stuff he “never knew existed”.
Just wanted to say what a nice group of people there are on this message board. Not anything like the board for the missing British child, where you post your concern for a missing child and you get verbally attacked.
