Thread Number 3
OQ was significantly quieted down on CC Live today...
I so agree. I'm thinking back to a couple of weeks ago when a room here was being painted with alkyd paints. The fumes really make me sick, but this is a new thing for me so I didn't figure out the source at first- even when I got a headache and nausea, spiralling into faintness.
What I did notice after a while, with bewilderment, is I how "tired" I felt. and those were the words that came to mind. What that really was, was a sinking feeling. Just wanting to heave my heavy body on the bed and turn out the lights. I realise now that that was NOT normal- that it was the fumes affecting my nervous system. That the tiredness was not normal.
I don't know if Howard lied about this. But it's telling nevertheless, I think, because it sounds like Daniel was experiencing something unusual for him. And also Howard noted it (like a fool)- thinking he was pointing to something else, like maybe suicide or natural causes, when drugs can cause exceptional and notable symptoms. We have Daniel's supposed words as a witness to that.
And I don't like being threatened. It reminds of the email crap between Anna and Larry which was brought up in Seidlin's court.
I haven’t been nervous at all about this until today — I think HKS suddenly playing nice guy is a bad omen for LB — like the DNA has been revealed to HKS and he knows LB isn’t the father so he can pretend to generous all of a sudden... HKS just doesn’t give up this easily.
Yes, CPS likely would have become involved because I believe LB was determined to get his child to safety, if that meant her going into foster care for a while, I think he would have done it to get her detoxed — though the State of California has taken to a pitiful protocol for treating drug babies lately....
He said HKS was a jerk and a few other things...he didn’t call him a killer but that subject didn’t come up!
I doubt he is intimidated but at this point of the game with the hearing tomorrow I don’t think calling him a murderer would have been strategically an advantage.
That was a big Bonnie blooper because she got the info from Howard.
With all due respect I think that O'Quinn knows exactly what he's doing. From what I've read of his circumstances, he surely doesn't need the money. I think he is canny, just like Seidlin was in his inimitable way.
I think that O'Quinn knows what he's doing at every moment, for the most part. He is a seasoned vet, unlike Opri who still has something to prove. O'Quinn can figure the probability and play to it. He has nothing to prove or to lose. He is totally in Virgie's corner because it suits him to be so. IMO.
Thing is they should all be telling the same story if it really took place.... they have told so many different stories it amazes me The Seminoles did’t get a lot more curious.
do we even know if they are still living?
Good point! Well, I think with the statement he's given, he expects to look good no matter what. He's hedging his bets, I think. It may be an omen, but perhaps it's not! That's the way psychos work. See how he's got us spinning!
Greta is concerned about animals. She might know or try to find out.
“And then, at one point Daniel said to me how come I’m so tired? And, in hindsight I wish that I had seen that as some sort of a signal and seen that something wasn’t right.
You are saying the same thing I have been saying. Why would he say that to Howard? Why wouldn’t he be tired? Even though he was still on Ca. time it was the middle of the night so that would not matter. I think he asked it because Howard gave him something and Daniel didn’t expect to react the way he did to it.”
OR HKS was trying to make it look accidental, as if it were someone else’s (read any doc or ANS’s) fault for leaving drug laced sodas or methadone around.
Those last words. . . that lament of someone opposed to drugs going under who suspects things are not right, but can’t fight it off or piece it together. Horrible to contemplate.
I think that is so sad. She is the grandmother and entitled to normal and natural access to her granddaughter. Howard is manipulating the normal and natural otherwise. What a freak! But it's even freakier that people are buying into his twisted view of reality. So reigns the psycho.
2. The mistake is: Howard saying that he should have thought more of it....As if sleepy equates with death. Because at that point, it could have been a heart attack....not a sleep activated drug death....Just like Anna's
Grandmothers go to court everyday in thesae matters.
