AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 2266) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | April 7, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 04/07/2007 3:32:11 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

Globull warming has struck.

Measureable snowfall in Northern Virginia for the first time in 17 years. There is a total of 0.3" on the deck; in 1990, it snowed 1.1". All raised surfaces are white. (NWSFO Sterling, officially, says the snowfall is a "trace", meaning less than 0.05", but maybe that's at the airport...) Algore--wish to explain this?

One of those "fringe" scientists who isn't "with the program", one who might actually know a thing or two about the subject, Dr. Gray--who is probably the leading hurricane climatologist in the world--called Algore a "gross alarmist". More to the point, Dr. Gray also said: He's one of these guys that preaches the end of the world type of things. I think he's doing a great disservice and he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Certainly, looking out the window and seeing white everywhere as the middle of April looms, yes, I agree, Algore doesn't know what he's talking about.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Well, that was quick work. I’m sure it will take you a few days to settle in, but I have to say it’s amazing how quickly things progressed once you started looking for a home.

Good Morning!

So there's fiction tied to The Passion?

What an odd title. Special Investigation of the story of The Passion. The Passion: Facts & Fiction & Faith.

What fiction?

What do they need to investigate? Christ was condemned, scourged, and then crucified. He rose from the dead, and through his death and resurrection, redeemed the world. What else needs to be said?

Sometimes these networks just seem so silly.

Hope your Easter weekend is blessed, CM.

Lysie, you are most welcome!

We have come to the conclusion that the crisis Michigan faces is not a shortage of revenue, but an excess of idiocy. Facing a budget deficit that has passed the $1 billion mark, House Democrats Thursday offered a spending plan that would buy a MP3 player or iPod for every school child in Michigan.

G-G-G-GOOD MORNING CHAIR, ALL FROM THE COLD, I REPEAT, COLD MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, JUST PLAIN OUT OLE COLD IF I HAVE NOT TOLD YOU!!!!!

FACT—, I will NOT be working in the yard today. ‘Baby, it’s cold outside’, forgot who sung it way back when.
And Al Gore say’s?, nothing, just orders 25 more pounds of carbon footprints..

We are getting ready to go plant and shrub hunting today, D wants to redo the front yard (something tells me a sore back is coming soon.

I heard yesterday that eggs were going up 28% in the stores, ho hum, time to get some more chickens, been meaning to anyhow, going Monday and see what the farm store has IF SIL fixes my we little chick holder...pen.

Getting ready to go into town and take some clothes, baby stroller, etc., to a friend who has just gotten 2, one 2, one 4, little Hispanic girls thru foster care. Believe me, D has enough stuff to outfit bunches of children, she belongs to a foster care group and they stay stocked up on everything.

I it is this cold tomorrow I am going to miss sunrise services, I just don’t need to come down with a cold or something.

Time to get ready to go into town, all have a good day and remember this special Holy season, it is ever thing to me.

We might have actually had a wind chill here this morning; it’s breezy as all get out.

We did the polishing in record time, even with one less person due to a broken arm. And now I’m going to make an amaretto cake to take to my sister’s house tomorrow. (I can finally start eating sweets again tomorrow!)

The day after tomorrow I begin my detox program. haha. yep I will.

I’m glad to hear you can go back on sweets. Happy day!

It was 37 degrees and now up to 44 degrees on the patio. I went outside and lo and behold, I was hit with a couple of snow pellets. I’ve always been told we’d get a cold snap before Easter, but never thought we’d have snow pellets. No, they are not sticking, and we’re having mostly really cold mist with a snow pellet every once in awhile. This GLOBULL warming is something. I just hope it hasn’t hurt my baby plants. I just put out some sweet bell pepper plants the other day and they have only 2 itty bitty leaves and stand about 1 1/2 inches tall. Hope they survive. They take forever to germinate. I’m going out to check on them. bbl.

If you have some 3# coffee cans, you might consider setting them over your tender baby plants and putting a rock on top to hold it in place.

There are no guarentees you can save them, but it would be worth a try. A scrub bucket could work, too. Anything to protect the plants from the cold and wind.

Wanted to let you all know what’s going on in Mama’s world these days. Mama has completed her first round of chemo but has elected not to continue with that treatment because it has weakened her considerably. That was the final treatment option available to her, so the choice that has now been made is to let the disease run its course. In the meantime, we are trying to make sure Mama is as comfortable as is possible, and to embrace her with the warmth of our love as much as we can.

Mama is at peace with the decision she and Daddy have made; after all, she knows what will happen to her next, where she will go and Who she will be with once she dies.

Her body is quite weak and she is in quite a bit of pain, but her mind remains strong and her spirit seems, to me, to be considerably stronger and happier than I’ve seen in several weeks. She and Daddy celebrate the joy of life each day.

This weekend, my brother and I have brought our families down to love on Grandma. My brother has brought his new son to show off to Mama, so she has finally gotten to meet both of the new grandchildren. It’s a houseful this weekend, loud and raucous, but I like to think that even though it might be a little wearying for Mama with all this untamed ENERGY around, she’s enjoying all six grandkids and the life and joy that children bring to all of us.

If you would, keep Mama in your prayers. If nothing else, please pray that God will comfort her and ease her pain. Emotionally, I think she’s doing pretty OK. But physically, she has a good bit of pain, and I would appreciate your continued prayers for her, and particularly that her pain be relieved.

Mama doesn’t get to the computer much any more, so I don’t know that she will be able to reply to each of you, but she wanted me to share an update of her situation with you. If someone would please copy this post to ATRW for me, I’d be much obliged. If you would like to send Mama a card, please message me privately, and I will let you know how to get in touch with Mama via snail mail.

Love to all of you, from Mama and from me.
