Daylilies and Irises? What all do you have there, Grans?
It is Beautiful!
I’m envious, deer eat ours.
Thank you Derly --- there are beautiful classy women all around me on DD too. I wish I had has such luck when I was much, much younger.
Tell them to shape up Cardy, or you’ll ship them out. That-a-boy.;)
WOW...they are closing already. That was quick. I hope they have a bed for you and the air installed before you get there. The Ice Princess will never care if the air is installed. She’ll be running the heat all summer, lol.
Well hello, Lady Gif. (I think you have the wrong name.)
Those are all Irises of different varieties. The bigger ones will be coming out later. I hate to see them go, but go they will.
I have to get out there and get my window boxes planted as soon as I can. I am only putting Begonias in them as they take the water situation well. I’ll wait until the men doing the garage are finished and it isn’t raining...sighhhh.
We had deer at the other house but they never bothered our flowers. They stayed down back and raised their young every summer. Lots of apples down back and they waited for them every year. Only wild animal, other than Al, that I’ve seen here is a Woodchuck, and boy is she fat! Luckily she’s under our neighbors shed and not ours, so far at least.
It sure was a beautiful day today, wish we could get a week running of this stuff, how about you?
Yes, he is; however, if he's holding his breath for me to wear such a contraption, he's going to have a LONG wait
Yes, they were at the bank today and filling in the final paperwork. I asked about the furniture and she told me it is not like Spain or American were you can go to a big store - you have to find little shops all over the city so it will mean a lot of leg work for them.
You see how smart I am not to go with them until the last week -— I can arrive with all that hassle behind them, criticize and take pics.
Just a quick post. I had to stop by the office to use the computer. I shut down during a storm yesterday and can’t get back on the internet. Cox tech support has no idea why. They exhausted everything in their bag of tricks short of a service call...which is scheduled for tomorrow. Hopefully it isn’t permanent. I cannot function without my life line.
Watch him Libby...the only way most men appreciate pretty undies is when they’re bunched up on the floor.
I’m glad I just put a loaf of bread on....it may help cleanse my mind. It's the yeast I think. ;)
Ahhhh....that sounds like Cancun. When we moved down there we had to do the same thing with the small stores. I went thru hell just finding lamps. (You know that I’m a lamp person?) Well I am.
Now Cancun is much bigger...and worse because of it...but has many stores that are here including the Amercan type furniture stores. Oh you should have seen the pots and pans I had to work with the first couple years...a disaster, I tell ya.
‘Course I know Jane would never live like I did...lol lol lol. Ahem...that’s a given....:)
Grannie you are a wicked lady talking to sweets like that. I know for a certain fact that nully is into stockings with seams and sexy underwear... High heels too, but he never really looks that good in them.
Oh she will Gran... she will buy lots of stuff temporararily which will last a lifetime, filling up every last storage place she has.
You should see how many Gas Station glasses we accumulated.
I guess I need Irises. Deer bite off all the flowers of my crocus, daylilies, hostas and others. Maybe Irises are deer proof!
I deedn't no dat.:(
I don’t know, LJ. I don’t think anything is deer proof if they want it. Check the internet, as I’ve seen lots of info on there about deer eating your plants. Have you asked the local nursery?
Like I said..I’ve haven’t seen any deer over in this house. The woods aren’t as deep as over there.
You know I would never wear those tacky sandals. :)
LOL..maybe not...but Nully is a Californian.
Well I won´t speak for him.
We had Coyotes at the other house...even a wild cat left his marks on the trees down back.
That’s a great map. Is that your local area? I wonder if I can find our area on one of them. They probably don’t do NH...lol.
