[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Meet Me On Symphony Road

Can we meet on Oasis Road?
Can this be our place under the moon
a border crossing near our star to the afar?

Snow Bird is there on the horizon
to swing us over our stardust tapestry...

Converging roads intersect
on desert dunes
will our carpet be
shaken and beaten
into our new magic...

Serendipity's home, New Shangri-La
of rose sunsets, diamond nites
velvet blue black sky, Jasmin and lavender lace
resting near your face...

Can we meet
Can this be our place

That stardust tapestry and music piece were a delightful ensemble. I stared into the stars and let the enchanting music play.

I could almost imagine it being music from the primordial space pub (even existing before the famous Star Wars bar scene). Sort of Flappers in Space (dressed in Chinese costumes), a 1920's cosmic experience.

I couldn't help noticing, while staring into the lovely stars, that in the lower right corner section there appears to be a target cross-hair! Are you going to blast something out of the stars? ;-)

So glad you enjoy the music, it is exquisite IMHO. Takes one right out of this world.

Well that couple I mentioned (the Chinese/English couple) contacted me and eagerly want me to return. So in addition to the other immediate job lead, now I have a better one. They live in the heart of the Taiwan technical city and he is a big wig with lots of pull.

Even the day I quit that job in Taiwan, that afternoon I was at the airport, and that evening I was in Bangkok, there in my email was already an email from them asking if they could assist me in some way. So when I emailed yesterday they promptly returned a message and said they had many business contacts that want an English teacher with the kind of background I have.

So I guess it's for sure I'll head back, can probably make some serious money, above the standard lucrative rate, and teach only business people, so no discipline issues. All's well that ends well. (they say whenever God closes a door, He opens a window!)

I was so angry yesterday. I'm quite humble and am happy to drive trucks and do odd jobs to pay rent on a simple place while I live in my country, in fact I was really looking forward to it, because those are my roots before all the techy big names.

But I didn't count on the "push back" from people who maybe wish more than anything they weren't at that simple level, and they immediately mark me as being too something or other, someone who has "been there", when maybe they don't believe they will ever get "there". They won't accept me, oh well, no odd jobbing for me. I'm still angry, why can't I just live a quiet simple lifestyle if I want to? Guess I'ms too edumacated.

Well, you know it's okay to get angry, out of it came good things for you, you contacted your friends in Taiwan -now you have a good paying job.



Your little farm will happen for you just not to be now I would say.

Remember last fall you wrote about the pear orchard? Your description of it was so lovely. It was a gorgeous day where you were and you were going for a walk. The air in the Lair was magic that day due to your ease of writing and describing.

You shared so much with us last year. The boarder runs to have your Visa stamped. The long, hot tiresome bus ride and the rigmarole you had to go through. Looking forward to more of these times with you and more wonderful pictures.
