My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Lady I have to go out for a bit, BBL.

This is a good picture of where we are. Lake Ontario is North, Lake Erie is S/West and we are in the middle with Canada directly West of us.
Oswego is further down Lake Ontario and they did get slammed this year. My sister-in-laws family is from there. We had the coldest winter in 30 years and snowiest in 12 years. So glad I have a big snowblower attached to my lawn tractor.

I thought it was a good one..
You can really see where we are and how close Canada is and Nia Falls. The Falls are only 5 miles from me. With this map you can see how we are protected from most lake effect snow too. I like it here when it come down to the weather.

I have a break in errands, gonna have to do the grocery run a bit later.
This snow is very fine and accumulating rapidly. The Weather Channel is calling it lite snow, ha! There is not enough to shovel, but give it a few hours. Streets are getting sloppy.

LOL good I am glad you did, more folks now know about St. Urho the Patron Saint of Grasshoppers in Suomi, means swamp and is Finland. ;)
