ET EXCLUSIVE: Howard K. Stern's family speaks out on Virgie and the tabloid headlines!

HOWARD K. STERN's family is fighting mad and talking exclusively with ET, as BONNIE and GARY STERN defend their brother's name!

Since his partner, ANNA NICOLE SMITH, passed away in February, Howard has been called everything from a murderer and a kidnapper to a free-loader.

"It makes me sick," Bonnie says. "Because, first of all, I know it's not true."

Some reports in the media claim that Howard is making millions off of Anna's death, but Bonnie blasts these claims.

"The person who's being accused of making all the money -- whether from life insurance policies or selling things to the media, even the funeral and stuff -- that is the person who has to pay all his own legal expenses and his own legal fees," she tells ET. "My parents are the ones who are paying for it."

"He set up a trust fund for DANNIELYNN," Gary explains. "Any money that came from the funeral went directly to that trust fund for Dannielynn. He has not made one penny off of this, not one penny. For 12 years he was [Anna's] companion, attorney, publicist," he adds. "He helped rebuild her career, her legacy, and did it for free. He did it because he loved Anna."

When it comes to Anna's mother, VIRGIE ARTHUR, Howard's family holds nothing back.

"She's staying in hotels that she definitely can't afford on the amount of money she says she makes," Bonnie claims.

Virgie has reportedly filed papers in the Bahamas hoping to become Dannielynn's guardian ad litem.

"You will never get that baby," Bonnie insists. "Never. Over our dead body. That's my reaction to that. Never."

Gary believes Anna made her wishes known, saying, "I think Anna was very clear about who she wanted to be in her child's life and who she didn't. She wanted Howard to be the father. And Howard, until his dying day, is going to make sure that Dannielynn is loved and cared for in a loving and nurturing environment."

IMHO: What a hypocrite this Bonnie Stern. She is disgusting. Virgie Arthur is not swindling anyone unlike her brother Howard the freeloader who is trying to take someone else's house and won’t pay for his utilities.

Only a sociopath would keep Virgie Arthur (who has lost her daughter and grandson) from seeing the granddaughter. Bonnie Stern has the gall to attack Virgie! Bonnie sounds like a clone of Howard. What a disgusting family.

I think Anna was not very clear - seeing as how she was in a drug induced stupor during the time Howard was in her life - since 1995. Howard wanted her to want him to be the father even if she got pregnant by someone else when Howard was not looking. And Howard, until his dying day - and his plans did not include his own death, is going to make sure that Dannielynn is cared for in the same drug addled semi-conscious state that he kept her mother in.

What makes Bonnie Stern think she has a say about DannieLynn...she is no relation to the baby. She appears to be a leach like her infamous brother, HKS. Where are HKS' parents? If they thought there was a chance in hell they were the grandparents of DannieLynn, you can bet they would be in the Bahamas helping take care of their grandbaby. Has anyone seen pictures of ANS with any of the Stern family? Virgie is acting like a real grandmother would...wanting to protect her grandbaby from a man who gives every appearance of being a scheming Melvin sociopath or psychopath.

Wow...that quote is just chilling (to me). Trying to play catch up with all that I have missed...and that quote just jumped out at me. To me, it speaks to the mindset of that cabal of squatters at CampStern (aka, Horizons). They 'possess' little DannieLynn...and no one is going to take 'their' possession (meal ticket). I trully fear for the baby now more than ever.

What happens next Tuesday when LB is proven to be the father? Will the Bahamian authorities take custody of DL? Will she be placed in the immediate custody of LB? What if the Bahamian Courts bend over more for HK$...(he is the only 'father' she has ever known)...and they let him retain even temporary custody? I think this bunch is capable of some kind of meltdown...and that they (and their irrational behavior) could be a real and present danger to the baby.

And...what kind of 30/40 year old proudly accepts the support (legal bills/shoes?) from their retired parents? Doesn't it sound like Bonnie and Gary are being supported as well? Do any of them have jobs?

If the Goat Herd was so concerned about the welfare of their niece-why didn’t they do everything in their power to get their future sister in law off drugs ?
Why weren’t they present for the birth ?
And the faux marriage ?
Did they come for Daniel’s funeral ?
Where were/ are the grandparents ?
You would think that for such a momentous occasion as the birth of the Goat’s first child-the Goat Herd would have been knocking each other out of the way to be in the Bahamas so they could be the first to hold and love the new baby.
Usually you need a crowbar to separate a Bubby from their new grandchild.

Okay. Then I would like to know how Stern is paying for this stable of attorneys?????? How many does he have now?

They don't work for free.

Stern told Judge Seidlin he hadn't gotten any money at all - and Anna was claiming bankruptcy and inability to pay for the Horizons house (or unwillingness to) - Stern shouldn't have access to her money anyway - so where is he getting the money to pay all these attorneys?
