She's trying to force his hand; Stern is already under a court order from CA to give DNA: he just hasn't done it.
Oh, listen to this: Rales claiming Sterns is the executor.
He is NOT -- not until a court says he is.

I'm sure they want Stern's DNA because if Dannielynn is not his then Virgie can make a claim on her. Bottom line..they want that child out of his clutches.

I *think* the purpose behind this is that they want to get that 'presumed' father thing off the table. If they can PROVE that HKS isn't Dannielynn's father, than he loses rights and custody of the baby. Why it's easier to get that done legally, than just to push for a DNA test on the baby I don't know.
But heck, I don't understand half of why this is all taking so long. Remember, this goes back to flipping October of last year!!
But at least Larry can have solace in the fact that she was a celebrity. If she weren't, he probably wouldn't have any idea in the world where she took his daughter. She would be anoynomous.
This is how I am understanding it...
In the Bahamas Stern does not have to submit his DNA to prove he is the father of the baby. But the judge in the Bahamas may ask Stern to do it. One of the Bahamian lawyers said that if the judge asks Stern to do it and if Stern refuses to do it, then that would lead the judge to suspect that Stern was trying to hide something. I think their morals and beliefs are different than ours. In otherwords if this was 2 Bahamian men fighting over the paternity of a baby. The "presumed" Bahamian father would proudly stand up and offer his own DNA without even being asked.
The lawyer also said that there has never been a case of 2 Bahamian men fighting over the paternity of a child before in Bahamian courts.
So Opri is out to push the judge to ask Stern to give up his own DNA to prove he is the father. Of course Opri knows that Stern won't do that but Opri is trying to point out that if he "was" the baby's father he would proudly stand up a give his DNA to be tested against the baby's DNA and once he came up a positive match all of Stern's worries would go away. In otherwords Opri is pointing out to the world that Stern is choosing to take hard road instead of the easy road and why is that?
