Thread Number Two
Oh my. Quite a list of credits.
Had to lay down for a while, but just finished watching "Throwdown with Bobby Flay". Meatloaf challenge! My son just made Sloppy Joes. Such a good boy :)
Jean Casares on Showbiz Tonight now....
It is very possible that Anna met Wes (Kris E's husband) before The Anna Nicole Show or before becoming neighbors.
Stupid question. I'm trying to research this on my own but am not having any luck.
Is Chloral Hydrate in any way close to Chloroform (that which was put on a cloth and put over a persons face, used during the civil war)?
Yes, it definitely is possible...
You think that was bad, you should have seen Cyril Wecht on H&C... if yo missed it, check the re-run... they are idiots about the case (except Kimberly Guilfole (sp) (made me wonder if she is our KimberlyGG ~LOL~) at one point Wecht said Dannilynnis a citizen of the Bahamas and Birkhead cannot just go there and snatch her back... he is too in the bag for Stern IYAM.
Ok, thanks -- but he's watching the "sort of local" news.
I've been watching ANS coverage all night, and I think I'm heading for bed!
You're quick on your keyboard, TEXCAT ! lol I've been patiently waiting 6000 posts for someone to make the connection---and some have come close, but not close enough until now !
POST 2: BABY BOTTLES AREN'T ALWAYS FOR BABIES !
I think a few links will tell the story as well as I can:
source: http://www.ndc.hrb.ie/detail.php?Id=325
"...The authors conclude that the use of a babys bottle to measure and store methadone seems to be common among patients prescribed the drug..."
http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=1114793
"...Our finding that a quarter of patients use a babys bottle to measure their methadone is therefore unsurprising. The bottle is readily available and clearly marked..."
http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/post?id=1798451%2C6536
"...Many users store their methadone in baby bottles because of the measurements on the side..."
(...well, of COURSE, I HAD to throw the 'Free Republic' reference in, too !! )
OPINION:
In a household where there are both infants and methadone users, the user may not remember to isolate "their" particular 'bottle' from the "baby" baby bottles used by infants within the household, or may become confused as to which bottle is which, thus potentially increasing the risk of the baby injesting residual methadone...Also, risk of accidental injestion would most likely increase significantly if a caregiver were to attend the baby in a home where both contaminated and uncontaminated bottles were present and the caregiver was unaware of the practice of utilizing baby bottles as dose measuring devices.
A Sad, Sad story:
http://archive.thenorthernecho.co.uk/2006/10/28/
"MOTHER SOBS...the toddler was playful and ran about...for the rest of the day, but was found dead the next morning."
VERY VERY VERY COMPREHENSIVE ARTICLE ON METHADONE:
(note that this article does NOT 'gloss over' the effects on the unborn child/newborn!)
http://www.drugtext.org/library/books/methadone/section4.html
"...Tolerance may go as quickly as it develops, so within a week or two of reducing the dose of methadone (or any other opiate) it is possible that tolerance will have dropped and there may be no significant tolerance to the effects of opiates.
"...This means that people post detox and intermittent users of opiates are at particular risk of overdose."
*******
Thanks!!! to all !!!! for the warm welcome!!!
...my cocktail of preference is no-alcohol Mint Julips, shaken not stirred, please, if it's not too much bother, oh...and...hold the methadone please (grin)
more posts to follow soon......
That's a disgrace when they're paid to go on tv, and they're not well versed in the case...
Well - I've caught up reading the thread....some things look good - the DNA tests tomorrow and that Dr. Baden says KE is in a lot of trouble? And John OQ's statements. Any downside to today?
LOL --- no downsides that I noted.
Yes, that helps. I was wondering if Chloral Hydrate could've been administered by the cloth over the mouth method.
You're right about Cyril. DrO is absolutely livid about him. What a troll.
Has anyone heard if HKS has really appealled?
Dang...got a phone call..what did I miss on Showbiz tonight?
Anything new??
KE had better be in a lot of trouble... I think she should be under arrest, not doing ET interviews.
All in all it looks like a great day all around!
