Remember that Ford and Shelley made these tapes BEFORE Anna died. Her death would totally change their perspective.
I thought excluding Virgie from Danny's funeral was the cruelest thing that one could ever do.
re: Patty Smith...I knew who she was, but looked her up a while back when the nominations first came out...her hippyish, no makup, stringy haired, 'dirty', I'm a woman, therefore grooming is not required attitude and looks, reminded me much of the same in Janice Joplin...record execs today would never sign on these women. While they may have been 'icons', they would have been rejected by today's music industry.
Yes I am sure Anna did keep in regular touch with Daniel. However, given her drugged up state - I wonder if she knew he was losing weight and why. Who knows? That is not to say Anna didn't love Daniel very much. I know she did. His death was simply too devastating for her to get over....but I think she was making progress except for the drugged up state she stayed in. The issue is that Anna was pretty Anna centric....and when one is an addict - it sort of has to be that way.
Anyone know, did E. Pierce Marshall die of/from an MSRA infection? Just curious.

Yes you're right - thanks for that addition. Mr. OQuinn said Stern's presence at both deaths given both were relatively young was circumstantial evidence that Stern had something to do with their deaths.....and of course the manner of their deaths.....which, as Greta pointed out, we don't know for sure what that was for Anna yet.

"This column has learned even more: Dr. Eroshevich was put in touch by phone with an addiction and pharmacology expert at a prestigious local university.
Smith's local pharmacist, who also refused to fill the prescriptions, put them in touch. The expert told Eroshevich that the medicines and doses she was asking for were inappropriate and dangerous.
"He told Dr. Eroshevich she was in way over her head and that Anna Nicole should be hospitalized," a source who knew about the conversation told me last night.
Dr. Eroshevich was referred to treatment centers where Smith's problems — chronic pain and grief over her son's death — could be addressed professionally. But Eroshevich would have none of it.
Even though the expert warned her that the drugs she was ordering were "horrible combinations" and that one dose was enough to kill someone, Eroshevich ignored him.
Kapoor was apparently horrified when Eroshevich told him, "I need something to knock her out." And the notion that the baby might be a priority didn't seem to matter.
"She told Kapoor that Anna hadn't bonded with the baby, and that she had people there to look after her," a source said."

Best thing that came from the hearing and I think Seidlin wanted to avoid what happened at Daniel's funeral from happening at ANS's.
What bothers me is the assumption by all that ANS WANTED to be buried in the Bahamas. Assumptions can be made that she would have wanted to be buried by Daniel, but no assumption should be made that she wanted either Daniel OR herself to be buried in the Bahamas. IMO, that decision was entirely out of her hands and drugged up mind and in the hands of Sterns. She always stated she wanted to be buried by Marilyn Monroe...I heard no testimony that has her saying specifically, "I want to be buried in the Bahamas."

Sounds like it's going to come down to who ordered, who prescribed, and who administered....ANS was certainly in no shape to have done so herself, imo.
Wow - that is big news.....incriminating news against KE. Like I said, it will be good to see KE and HKS under oath - turning on each other to protect their own sorry axxxxxx.

You're right. Actually all the early news reports after Daniel's death indicated his body was to be shipped to the US for burial. Somebody along the way changed that idea....and I don't think Anna was in any state of mind to be the one to do so.
I'll have to go back and check about what Pierce Marshall died from - just remember it was some type of infection. Am sure others will come along and be able to answer your question.
I'd love to see Dr. KE and HKS under oath. The doctor is a disgrace---totally unscrupulous.
Tragedy after tragedy. HKS and KE should definitely be under oath one day and, I hope, both will be in jail for a very very long time.
Well back to worklurk mode. Hope the DNA court hearing brings some good news today but frankly, not holding my breath. Thanks in advance for bringing the events "live" to this thread through the day for us in cube bound land.
