It is VERY strange. I don't like it.
We may see Larry dance up to Bahamian court today with his Bahamian Attorney and his new US Attorney.
Maybe it will be a moot point if Larry and Howie have reached a "settlement".....sick as that sounds!
We were hoping that Dannielynn would go with LB who we assumed was a decent guy. Without that, i give up. Poor Dannielynn. But i can't sit back and watch this thing go down. It's too depressing. Especially since things were looking so good up til now.
After I heard it, then Opri confirmed it, and then I absorbed it, the thing that came to my mind was Greta's show night before last with Rale and Opri on. How everyone including Opri was in agreeance that HKS's dna was not necessary or needed for the paternity test.
It would have been a bonus but not needed. But Opri continued to be persistant in requesting dna from HKS.

Then the Thompsons were conflicted over their loyalties to Larry and Anna - seems like they should not have picked sides.
May have saved Daniel from having to go to the Bahamas to die, Larry's custody fight and ANS' fugitive flights to Florida.

Anna Nicole Smith Saga: Debra Opri, the now former attorney for Larry Birkhead, is reportedly holding Howard K Stern responsible for the unexpected bounce from her job representing Larry Birkhead in the custody case of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn. Harvey Levin of TMZ.com told MSNBC's Chris Jansing that he was bound to hold the "confidences" of his sources, but that he knew there had been "butting of heads" between Birkhead and Opri recently.
No statements have been issued as to the exact nature of the termination, and no lawyers have been named to replace the outspoken Opri.
This is the first chance I've gotten to post today. I'm shocked about Opri. I'm still Team Birkhead but I hope he knows what he's doing. I'm thinking he's going to make a deal with Stern....sigh.

People reports the police report included interviews with private investigator Jack Harding from California. Harding told authorities Daniel once told him he was concerned about the "kind of persons" Anna Nicole had around her. He added Daniel "felt that her associates were taking advantage of her," PEOPLE reports .

I hope you're wrong. If LB and Stern did make a deal, i guess Stern held out long enough to make LB desperate. But why would his desperation happen to come on the day of the trial? Somethings not as it seems...
