Another option would be that the Bahamian judge tells Stern he has 2 choices... abide by the California order while he remains on the island on his visitors pass or have his visitor pass revoked and he will be escorted of the island with or without the American baby.
Like Pinder said back Stern up into a corner.

Hmm- "did not want his friends to know he was meeting PI." Drats. Sure would like to hear from the Martino guy Danny was staying with.

He may also have based that on what EMTs said, as well.

In my reading on procscribed methadone treatment, one of the things advised is that the patient may need to have someone else monitor/give the medication strictly, as the patient may not be able to do so effectively.

Please let me know if you find where Brigitte says the high fever was before they left the Bahamas. I think KE might have even said Anna was sick before they left too. She said they didn't get to the hotel until 8pm Monday night. Then she goes on to say that Anna did all these activities, which didn't make sense.

Bottom line is something isn't right, with all these different stories. I'd like to know exactly whose story Perper is using to come up with Time of Death??

HOT OFF THE BAHAMIAN PRESSES

16th March
Similarities Between Smith, Son’s Death
By Quincy Parker

The similarity in the manner of the deaths of American celebrity Anna Nicole Smith and her son Daniel Wayne Smith prompted Bahamian police to send a delegation to Florida, a senior police official said on Thursday.

Ms. Smith died suddenly in Florida on February 8, 2007 while Daniel died suddenly in Nassau on September 10, 2006. Both deaths occurred under circumstances described as unusual by authorities involved, and both deaths appear to have involved prescription drugs.

Meanwhile, Chief Superintendent Marvin Dames – Officer in Charge of the Central Detectives Unit – told the Journal on Thursday that Bahamian police were in Florida speaking to their counterparts about "a number" of ongoing investigations.

He said he was not at liberty to say specifically whether they were looking into Daniel’s death.

Months ago, the police sent a file to the Coroner containing the results of their investigation into Daniel’s death: at the time, police officials said their investigation into the young man’s death was complete.

However, Mr. Dames on Thursday acknowledged that since the Coroner’s Inquest into the youth’s sudden demise is scheduled to begin a the end of March, the investigation into his death "can’t be closed."

Police Commissioner Paul Farquharson met with Seminole police Wednesday.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Reginald Ferguson has said that since ms. Smith resided in the Bahamas at the time of her death, Bahamian authorities have an interest in the case.

Bahamian police are also still investigating the reported burglary of her home. Ms. Smith’s companion, attorney Howard K. Stern, said computers and other personal effects were stolen.

Mr. Dames spoke of a reciprocal relationship between Bahamian and Florida police, pointing out that Seminole Police Department officials had been in The Bahamas two weeks ago looking into what he described as "linkages" here in relation to Smith’s death.

Such reciprocal cooperation, Mr. Dames said, was "all standard procedure."

The presence of Bahamian police officers in Florida was widely reported in the US press, but Bahamian police are sticking to their customary silence regarding ongoing investigations.

According to Florida press, Seminole Tribal Police have met with Broward prosecutors to assess whether they have sufficient grounds for search warrants to access Ms. Smith’s computer files.

Seminole police have the computers, but are concerned about examining them because it’s not clear whether they were obtained legally.

The Miami Herald is reporting that authorities say they have no evidence of foul play, but her death is nevertheless considered suspicious, which means they would investigate it as thoroughly as they would a homicide.

Last week, it was revealed that the Seminole police had two new pieces of evidence in the case that they wanted to explore, thus holding up the Broward medical examiner’s final report on the case.

Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper has yet to announce what caused Ms. Smith’s death.

I took it to mean he was initially told she had had a prior temp of 105, not that he's saying her temp was 105 on Thursday. Wecht was referring to "accumulative" - that taking drugs over time did not accumulate them and cause death. He wasn't referring to a one-time overdose of one or several drugs.

I swear I heard Howard say Anna didn't use methadone for the last 5 months, to his knowledge.

After reading the transcript again... maybe Perper didn't mean what I thought he meant about 105 temp???

Perper is so hard to understand on the TV. He didn't really answer NG's question at all. Instead he says the temp was 105 and then went down. I now think he might have meant the alive temperature went down, not the dead temp.

This is nuts! ;)

A combination of mis-matched drugs/food could kill you and not be an overdose of any of them.

If Perper wasn't saying her temperature was 105 on Thursday, on what is he basing the accuracy of 105 as a prior (when?) temp?

I don't know if know this or not - I know we were talking about Demerol if it was in pill form or liquid vial form.

So FYI...

The waybill dated 8/8/06 for what Dr. Levy sent says on it what he sent:
30 pills of Dalmane
30 pills of Demerol

1 vial bottle each of the 3 Vitamins

http://www.aolcdn.com/tmz_documents/0315_levy_pharmacy_2.pdf

Surely she had made it through the 30 pills of Demerol and Dalmane long before February 8th, 2007

To whom this was a concern...

Not sure who asked but someone asked earlier tonight how does Baden know the Demerol the Levy sent was in pill form. Well the waybill says they were pill form

Pro Pindar had a different spin on this aspect today, giving me hope that the Bahamian court can and will see the DNA test gets done. My mind is mushy now and I don't recall everything he said, but that seemed to be the gist of it.

Yes- re: drugs/food, of course the grapefruit in particular. I remember hospitals serving grapefruit juice years ago. You'd think they'd be careful with it knowing the risks with meds, but ....
As far as we know, Perper's just basing his 105 degree statement on what a number of people told him. He knows he can't vouch for it's absolute accuracy. It may, or may not, have anything to do with her death. He said it'll be explained further in his report.

I have a lot of reading yet to catch up on, but am frustrated by Greta's show and the discussion of the drugs. Why is it that there was no discussion, whatsoever, of the vials of drugs beside the methadone in the fridge? Has there been, do I just keep missing it? aghh. lol.

Can anyone tell me if it has already been determined what type of meds were in those vials and, if Anna wasn't being injected with whatever was in them, then who was?

That means he died not too awfully long after he ate. This might lend credence to the opinions that something might have been in the food or drink.

He may also have based that on what EMTs said, as well.

If that is the case, we sure would like to know.

Dr Perper could you please clarify your response to NG's question regarding the medical findings of ANS's corpse body temp.
