Are you listening to Greta - Baden just said the Demerol sent to the Bahamas was in pill form.

But that does not mean she was using the pill form of Demerol while she was in Florida. Why would Perper want to know if she used alcohol swabs went she injected herself with Demerol.

side note...
Intraveinous means in the vein - but demerol can be injected under the skin, in the muscle, by IV, and rarely directly into the vein (you really have to be a junkie or in severe pain to want to put it into a vein), plus it comes in pill form.

Yes, Barth is dramatic. But I would say she is also effective. So far she has been more effective than any of the other attorneys, IMHO. I don't like her but she does well.

Certainly better in front of the camera than John OQuinn.

And while I think Debra Opri shows a lot of toughness, talks tough, so far she has lost all the court actions she's been involved in.

Barth just mentioned "I've been in contact with all of Howard's attorneys...."

Neither Larry Birkhead or Virgie have such a plethora of legal help. Advantage, Stern.

That's why SlickStern may indeed get away with murder....

But like others have said - God has a way of letting the truth come out - sometimes in very tiny, unrecognizable ways at first.

I'll keep the faith that God's truth will triumph - and that Police Chief Tiger is really the investigative bulldog (and cannot be bought off or talked off the facts in this case)....as we were told early in our threads by Freeper Samantha! Wish Samantha would come back and comment!!!

I believe Dr. Perper did see a single injection site and that is why he asked if she used alcohol swabs when she injected Demerol. But why they (Greta & Baden) think she would shoot it into veins is beyond me. There are other ways to inject it they know this.

Oh there are lots of places to do injections - stlnative has talked about that....by oneself or by others....I don't really know about injections - stl - can you answer?

If Howie was the drug giver as has been described by several eyewitnesses - I do NOT think Anna injected herself.

Yes, I followed the Michael Peterson case daily. It was full of turns as twists like this case. MP thought he was gonna get by with murder too.

Glad to hear that HKS is going to be investigated. I truly believe there is something very wrong with HKS. I fear he might get by with it. I don't have alot of faith in Dr Perper.

Hopefully there are some good detectives on the job who will compare the timeline and match up what the witnesses have said. There's been way too much lying or ommision of the truth from the witnesses.

Greta - why doesn't he just let the DNA swab be done...Barth - he is going to address this through the proper courts....we have a procedure to do....my client has reached out and has tried to take this out of the press and to protect this little girl....he will deal with this in due time - genetics and biology do not equal custody.

First O'Quinn spins off the table...now Barth...huh? Genetics, Ms. Barth = paternity...custody, due to a false claim on a birth certificate = fraud.

Turning in - will be worklurking again tomorrow!!! BIG ANS day....but I just heard the Bahamian attorney for Ben thompson in the House fight say that they are just in the process of working out the details of the proceedings - so nothing will happen tomorrow of note in the House hearing.....grrrrr...that's probably going to be true in the custody hearing also.....

Perper will not comment on the amount of Demerol and Methadone in skin. If Star guy has accurate info, Perper must wonder where he got it? If info guy has is wrong, I don't see how Perper keeps from calling him on it..
