She's a nurse and I think he's with the Fire Department. Not that they couldn't be but they need to "function" in their jobs. They're looking at Anna as sick with a doctor attending her, not a druggie per se. It's just my personal perception of them.

Anna's attorney, upon hearing the Bahamian coroner's assertion that Daniel's death was "suspicious," lambasted the coroner's statement, claiming that, because the Bahamian coroner was not an investigator, she had acted beyond her scope as coroner and had no business releasing such an inflammatory statement. The chief magistrate removed the coroner from Daniel's case. It would now be up to the chief magistrate as to whether an Inquest would be held at all. He also saw to it that the coroner's autopsy findings remained sealed.

Great atricle! I didn't realize that Howard hand in having the original coroner removed --- but I'm not surprised.

Wonder whose name the boat is in. No one has ever said. I think it was a laundering scam and it's in Howard's name. It'll be fun to watch the Coast Guard take it over because very shortly, "The Tax Man Cometh".

If they can't prove he murdered anyone, then maybe that's the way they'll get him. Just like the way they got Capone. One way or another, i believe they (the US Feds) are gonna get him.

Regarding this article....maybe it's just me, but I couldn't find anything in the article that actually said "Daniel's tissues were not tested for chloral hydrate"....anybody? Because I'm actually hoping they were, even if Wecht didn't.

SO, which one of Anna's attorney had ALREADY decided that Daniel's death was an accident? If there were ANYTHING suspicious, Anna of all people would have wanted to know!!

Did you understand Ford Shelly to say that he, HKS, and Larry met in a hotel before the funeral, and HKS wanted Ford and Larry to agree to a closed settlement according to his wishes? When they refused, he said HKS got mad and that's why HKS is delaying things and making threats.

Unless Perper is an absolute idiot he would have gone: hmmmmm HKS was in the center of the suite watching TV until Brigitte Nelson arrived and then he left, leaving Taz in the room to watch ANS and Brigitte in the living area..... and the CH was in the other room... did she levitate into the other room for the CH? If not which person in the party gave it to her and left her to die?????

and, oh by the way, none of these were prescribed for her and she took a lot of prescriptions not prescribed so someone is negligent for giving them to her... who gave them to her? That person is on the hook for negligent homicide!

I still think Daniel drank from a cup Howie had doctored up for ANS and died as a result. IF she had trouble sleeping in the hospital and we know she had birthing pain, I can see he put Methadone and CH in that cup.

I think you're right. ANS friend, Jackie Hatten, told Geraldo the Saturday after ANS died that HKS was the pusher, insisting everyone in proxmity to the two of them take some of his pharmacy of drugs.

ok, just a thought here...methadone is used to treat heroin withdrawl, right? Anna may not have had the typical, 'heroin track marks', but maybe she was hooked on the heroin substitute you just described, hence the need for methadone.

Also, did you hear Laurie tell Heraldo last night that Anna WAS weaning herself off methadone...would = the detox theory.
