In terms of when they met, he could be talking about when they encountered each other instead of a meeting to discuss employment by Daniel.
In the first interview I saw, Harding said he was a friend of Ray Martino, Daniel's 'roommate'. They had encountered each other several times, including frequenting the same coffee shop. As far as I've heard, Harding said Daniel met with him once regarding concern about his mother.
The jeans would be the logical place for the wallet.
Daniel and his *not-guardian* Ray Martino had coffee several times a week at the same coffee shop and the PI, Jack Harding, was a regular there, too.
Over the weeks and months, they got acquainted with each other and usually had their coffee together.
At some point, Daniel decided he wanted to talk to Harding alone, away from Martino, so as not to alarm Ray that there might be anything wrong. So, he asked to meet Harding elsewhere and not tell Martino. They did.
They met once and Daniel told him all that, then Harding told him it wouldn't be a cheap investigation to have to travel to The Bahamas. Daniel said he'd have to get back to the PI about the money, then.
That was just a couple of weeks or less before Daniel went to Nassau and died.
*not-guardian* - I say this because he really was Daniel's guardian, so to speak, but not legally or any other way - because Daniel was 20 and didn't *need* a guardian, unlike his mom.
But "friend" sounds weird or "roommate" doesn't really describe it, either. Sometimes I call him the "landlord" so it sounds like Daniel was just renting an apartment from him, but he was living in Martino's home so someone could take care of him (Daniel).
Someone on TMZ posted that Joshua Perper's son is Harry Perper.

Paternity Testing Procedure
To start a paternity test, simply call 1-800-613-5768 or use the online order form. Our client service team will take your information and arrange for convenient sample appointments; we can schedule separate appointments for different parties if required.
At the Collection Site
All test participants are asked to present government-issued identification (such as a Driver’s License) and to complete a Client Identification and Consent Form. The legal guardian must sign this form for test participants who are minors. The sample collector takes fingerprints and photographs of all test participants.
Buccal Swab Collection
Samples for a DNA test, such as a paternity test, are routinely collected using the painless and simple buccal swab—similar to a cotton-tipped swab, but made of the special material Dacron®. The swab is rubbed against the inside cheek of the test participant, and loose cheek cells adhere to the swab. Unlike regular cotton swabs, Dacron® provides a consistent surface for sample collection and DNA extraction.
DNA Test in the Laboratory
The sample collector sends the swabs to our laboratory in a sealed, tamper-evident package. When samples arrive in our laboratory, our staff checks to see if the package seal is intact. Each sample is recorded into our database. When all the samples for a paternity test case have arrived, we start the DNA test, which follows the following five steps:
Samples from each person are divided in two for Dual Process™. From this point on, two independent laboratory teams take the samples through the DNA testing process.
DNA is extracted from the buccal swabs and purified.
The extracted DNA is added to a special chemical mix for the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), a process that targets 16 specific locations in the DNA (called loci) and makes billions of copies of each location.
The products of PCR are analyzed to create a DNA profile, a genetic equivalent of a fingerprint for each tested party.
The child’s DNA profile is compared with the alleged father’s, and statistical analysis is performed to determine the probability of paternity. A 0% probability of paternity represents an exclusion (the alleged father is not the biological father) and at least a 99.99% probability represents an inclusion in a standard trio (the alleged father is the biological father).
Larry has to have a hearing on Apr 23 before Schnider, in order to substitute any new lawyer in the ongoing case and have Opri released.
Not to politicize everything but from Day One..I've said this is a classic battle between Liberalism and Conservatism. All of these TV talking heads are seeing that and that's why they are hopping aboard the Cracker.
Harding's "Nemesis Ltd" business card was in Daniel's wallet, which the police did have.

Greta said LB's attorneys in California should get a temporary restraining order. That way, the lab in Ohio can't destroy the DNA test results. The panel seemed to agree that because the DNA sample is in the USA, it should be a slam dunk if they did that.
Thanks for the reply...that is certainly some of the best news we've had since we saw Larry jumping up and down on the courthouse steps! As long as the sample is at least perserved...our boy Larry has a chance.
Yeah, like HKS really needed a DNA test to find out he is NOT the father of Dannielynn! I suppose, he might have 'raped' ANS (while looking at naked pics of Ron Rale, of course) while she was unconscious from the drugs he gave her, and hoped that one time 'took' and he was the father! RIGHT!! He knows now and has known along that there is NO CHANCE that HE is the father of that baby...that's why he is using the best defensive law tactic there is...DELAY, DELAY, DELAY!!
Anyone know the history behind the whole Bahamian law regarding the "legal" father deal?
I mean, why would a country place such emphasis on the name contained on the birth certificate over the biological proof of paternity? Was this determined by some specific precedent setting case or has it just been in place and never been challenged?

My guess is that their legal system just hasn't caught up with DNA testing -- the only way to dtermine bio dad
Stern was "directed" to submit the baby for the swabbing. He did this and he also had to sign off that he was giving his permission for the baby to be swabbed and for the DNA tests to be ran. He was also photographed and fingerprinted as he was the baby guardian at the time of the swabbing.
Stern's appeal on the DNA test will most likely be denied because he agreed to it and sign off on it.
Stern is now trying to say the method of swabbing is not the "normal" method used in the Bahamas - normally they do blood tests. But I guess he forgot that he signed off on the cheek swabbing of the baby.
Stern is just trying to delay things... I truly believe his appeal will be denied before April 3rd. But still the DNA results will not be unsealed because Baird the DNA expert guy cannot come to the Bahamas on April 3rd.
