Perper addressed that in his presser, ANS wasn't revivable at the time she was discovered not breathing. Therefore, no one involved in resuscitation efforts are held liable for actions/inactions. Happens all the time and no one gets their license yanked or should.
PRIOR to that moment is a whole different ballgame.

IIRC the absesses were all beneath the surface, not visible to the eye...it wasn't until KE told Perper that she was having butt pain, that Perper went back and 'cut her open' there, that he was able to see the absesses, at least thats per Dr. Perper...but the autopsy took what, 6 hours? I don't remember hearing that more work was done on her after the original autopsy, but it sounds like Perper is saying.

I've questioned this as well, why was he permitted to be so involved in this investigation, if it's not the 'norm' for a ME? And so then I have to question, how much control did he have over the police investigation and the final decision to call this 'accidental'. Though he 'allowed' Tiger to give the manner of death statement first, Perper ran the show yesterday and questions to Tiger seemed awfully limited. All along it seemed he was caught up in the 'celebrity' of it all and I wonder how much Perper was influenced by the involvement of HKS's new criminal attorney in the investigation. She said she literally sat down with Perper personally and helped him to go through all the emails. The vast majority of the 'history' portion of Perper's statement was based solely on the information he was given by HKS and KE. But Fuhrman and Guilfoile really pushed last night that there is still a possibility of criminal culpability and the Florida investigation might even be reopened based on what comes out in the inquest.
How does the M.E. resolve the fact that ANS allegedly took some Chloral Hydrate around 10 a.m. the morning of her death BUT everyone now knows that Chloral Hydrate can not be found in the body after about 4 minutes after taking it?
Did anyone hear if any American 'news' network will have access to being inside for the inquest?

I think we're all asking this question...
not once was it taken into consideration that an individual with (as Stern put it) 'a sixth grade education' may not be capable of fully understanding drug interactions, and, therefore, necessarily relied on those around her to inform her, even if she was 'a grown woman'....
nor were the Khrisvorkian faxes taken into consideration although much was made of Anna's proported 'doctor shopping'
I, for one, was appauled at the typos, inconsistencies, and ambiguities contained in the report, considering they had 6 weeks to prepare the document and considering they had video evidence of Moe, Taz, Stern and Eroshevich statements (purjury?) as to timeline/events.

Perhaps the Bahamian judicial system can bring additional evidence to light ?

Considering Sanchez could neither read nor speak well and seemed only vaguely familiar with the particulars of the case, perhaps along with assisting Perper in the review of all the emails, she also helped him write his report?
Greta said Fox will have people there. Did you see her interview with the Chief MAgistrate yesterday? He gave her a tour of the inquest room and explained how the procedure will go.
