Let me tell you now that I don't think that the science used by medical examiners is all that accurate. I have personal knowledge of inaccurate findings. Without going into to much detail - someone I know died of a gunshot wound - automatic inquest. The coroner/ME found that the person had small amounts of marijuana in their system and had probably last smoked it about three weeks prior - trace amounts of cocaine were found but nothing in nasal passages - so they concluded he had not snorted it in the hours prior to his death. Let's just say I know for a fact that these findings were totally wrong. So I'm left to believe that this is an inexact science.

It's obvious just by listening to Perper that this is an inexact science. 90% of what he said is hearsay. She felt this way, she didn't feel that way, she went here, she didn't go there. HTH does he know what she felt or what she did or didn't do.

We already knew it wasn't the day she died, at least from everything we HEARD. I don't think anyone said it was the day she died. But all was just talk from those who were close around her, so we don't know much FOR CERTAIN.
Whatever it is, i hope he has some clout.

The official cause of Anna Nicole Smith’s death was due to an accidental overdose, authorities announced today (26 March).
The former Playboy playmate and reality TV star passed away on February 8 after being found unconscious in a Florida hotel room.
The initial autopsy conducted last month by Broward County Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Perper revealed no serious injuries or evidence of pills in Smith’s stomach.
At today’s press conference, Seminole Police Chief Charlie Tiger announced: "We found nothing to indicate foul play, this case is an accidental overdose with no other criminal elements present."
He added: "This effectively closes the case on Anna Nicole Smith."
The paternity case to establish her 6 month old baby girl Danielynn is still ongoing however.

I have a feeling that if he had any influence, ANS would have NOT been with HKS until the day she or Daniel died, especially with all of Virgie's suspicions for so many years.

If, as Knothead claims, Anna was happy and perky, why all the drugs for depression?? To provide a fake high? And her "happiness" at Christmas is the kind of "happy" that I never hope to experience. The shrine to Daniel and being unable to hold Dannilynn seem pretty sad to me! But, I'm not a celebrity, so what do I know?
Which if you put what Perper said into context with this info... they left Bahamas she felt fine, in a good mood, had an appetite... and then started with the chills, fever, diarrhea, etc... the longer she was away from Bahamas and her Methadone stash, the worse she was feeling.

Hearsay didn't seem to be a problem in Perper's investigation. In fact he based probably 90% or more of his findings on nothing but hearsay evidence.
