Two Georgia men survived a gruesome suicide attempt Friday after cutting their own arms off with a saw, reported Atlanta's Journal Constitution.
The 40 and 41-year-old men managed to remove three of their four arms, cutting them about six inches about their wrists, Atlanta Police Major Lane Hagin told the Journal.
The men left a suicide note with the manager of their apartment building saying they were killing themselves because they were recently diagnosed with HIV and their business had failed, according to police.
The men are in stable condition at a local hospital and will undergo psychiatric tests, a police spokesman said.

Love the keywords. I wonder if they'll applaud their own work.

These two HIV-infected dolts are being kept alive thanks to the enforced generosity of the US taxpayer!I wonder how they'll pay THEIR taxes this year or the next.

Even with dementia it is hard to imagine them both suffering with it at once.I'm willing to give odds that this is chemically-enhanced stupidity.

I read of somebody going around the country holding castration live shows. Was he castrating himself, or soliciting volunteers from the audience?

I never thought of that.
Do you think it was meth?
Once I saw a thing on tv where these two guys were taking meth and somehow they set a fire and were actually sitting there in the living room ON FIRE, literally their clothing and bodies were on fire and they did not even know it. Somebody rushed in and saved one. Evidently they did not even know they were on fire. I'll never forget that.

Meth would be my guess. I am not a doctor (nor do I play one on TV), but your story tends to support that conclusion.

Wow that meth sounds bad. There's a stealth weapon. Encourage the enemies to take it and spread it among themselves and they'd be destroyed and defeated from the inside out without the need for a single shot fired.

I'm glad you thought it was funny; I think it might have been too subtle for most people. It's not my cleverness -- I stole the apartment name from SF Chronicle columnist Herb Caen and have been waiting for 25 years to use it.
To: Doohickey
I'm not sure. He would need volunteers IF it was authentic. It also mentioned some guy who was selling videos of castrations he had made prior to getting charged with, I believe, practicing medicine without license. I really do not get this.

"I stole the apartment name from SF Chronicle columnist Herb Caen and have been waiting for 25 years to use it"I grew up in S.F. and couldn't wait for the morning Chronicle so I could see what pearls of wisdom of his I could store away so I could spring them on people at the appropriate moment.
He really was glib and could turn a phrase!

No, there is something way more bizarre going on here.To say the least. Pills or an exhaust filled car would yield the results they supposedly wanted more effectively, with a lot less pain and mess.

PCP is my guess,,it makes one immune to pain. Or Ketamine, that animal trank that makes you feel no pain.
That said this is the sickest thread I have ever seen, everyone of you deserves a punishment for your comments which are the most hysterically funny I have ever read.
