And this same juror was
1. An author of a book on spying
2. A former reporter for the Washington Post
3. A former neighbor of Tim Russert
While MOST of the jurors were probably not politically motivated, the one who spoke for them at the press conference seemed to me to be a bit political.
Hmph!

Shock, shock!
I'm heading off to bed soon. I had hoped to have link the photo album with the flood pictures before I closed up shop. But it is still uploading to the web site and it may take some time. I'll check it in the morning.
We're sleeping in tomorrow! School's been cancelled; it's a flood day! I also gave my maid the day off so she could attend to her family's needs. She had to evacuate her house last night before it was swept away. I think it was swept away, it may have just been severely damaged. Anyway, they went to higher ground.
I'll talk to y'all in the AM. Be good to each other but death to the RATS. Show no mercy.
Well I looked for spring pics to post, and several baseball pics came up....he, he, but here's this....

____________
Then add in that James Comey, who appointed Fitzgerald, both were prosecutors against Marc Rich and had a grudge against Libby for representing Rich.
Why no conflict of interest?
Re: Denis Collins/Libby trial: I have read...
1. that Collins, WP reporter juror and Russert neighbor, was on LKL last night....hints of book on trial ($$$)
2. that a publisher has already announced another forthcoming book on the trial ($$$)
3. that O'Reilly revealed his complete ignorance of facts in the Libby case.
4. that Libby's attorney costs...so far...are estimated at $2,000,000.
5. that Fitzgerald throughout the trial called Plame "covert" and/or "classified"
6. that Fitzgerald talked as much about Rove, Cheney, and the Iraqi war as he did Mr. Libby's "crime".
7. that 3 hours before the verdict the jurors' note to the Judge asked, "What is the charge?"
There's much more...Russert's "memory", for instance, but the jurors believed him rather than Libby. Sandy Berger walks free and has never taken the court-ordered lie detector test. Who is the real criminal? Burger or Libby?
"Stop the world; I want to get off" keeps running through my head.
