Good to see you here.
>>That Libby verdict! so infuriating....
Political
Looks like it's time to take off the gloves.
Not if but when the 'Pubs get power back......we need to clean house this time.
No, that that I've observed, these just wander along picking stuff out of the grass.
That beak is Quite a schnozz, eh?
IG, I'm not sure "stunning" is the adjective I'd use. Appalling is more like it. The trolls over on the live verdict thread are thick as you-know-what.
Are you dug out from your latest wind/snow, IG?
See link :HERE
we're dug out and the meltdown has begun
snoopy people looking over my shoulder. bbl
It has already started.
Just read a few of the babblings of the RAT minions and you would think that this trial's screwed up verdict was a conviction of the entire Administration and everything that has been done over the years...
Just when I thought it couldn't get any crazier...
Lord, how I do agree...
Let us remember that William "Cold Cash" Jefferson hasn't been charged, much less indicted in a situation that goes back to....wasn't it 2004? 2003?
Indeed, he's been placed on the House Homeland Security Committee. Makes a person feel sooo safe and secure....
Punch 'em in the nose, IG.
(Man, I'm riled up today.)
Indeed, he's been placed on the House Homeland Security Committee. Makes a person feel sooo safe and secure....
I just cannot fathom it...my poor little brain is on overload.
I think it is time to head home for the day and get ready for my KofC meeting tonight.
Bye everyone...have a safe and enjoyable evening, and know the sun will rise in the morning and God will provide!
School is cancelled for today. The two main bridges in town are "out", whatever that means, and many low-lying areas have water over 2 feet deep.
I don't know if the b'ball came later today is postponed. FWIW, the girl's lost their game last night and the youngest daughter played so aggressively she fouled out. HA!
I was just concerned is all..
thanks for checking in
back to the cave bbl
Well, the world as we know it is officially over. Gone are the days when the bad guys lost and the good guys won.
Prairiebreeze pinged me to an article about a new law passed in France. Citizen journalists are no longer allowed to photograph crime. The law could lead to the imprisonment of eyewitnesses who film acts of police violence, or operators of Web sites publishing the images, one French civil liberties group warned on Tuesday.

And then we have the Libby case. While Sandy Berger walks free, in fact, hasn't to this day even taken his legally required polygraph test, someone like Scooter Libby could go to jail for up to 25 years.
I suppose as an attorney he should have just said "I don't remember" to the investigators and to the Grand Jury. That's what Tim Russert did and all the other journalists as well. I've haven't heard as many "I don't remember" statements since Filegate and Travelgate.
He should have claimed it was about getting serviced by an intern.
That works in today's climate. The world is upside down.
My choir director just called to tell me that she cancelled tonight's practice because of the weather. So I have an unexpected evening off!!!!:) :) :) :) :)
Me too
Oh boy, I'm gonna have fun figuring this out. /s
Happy you have the evenig off.
If I was closer, I would make a housecall, fix it in a couple of minutes, and then, cook supper you ya'll.
