Prairiebreeze pinged me to an article about a new law passed in France. Citizen journalists are no longer allowed to photograph crime. The law could lead to the imprisonment of eyewitnesses who film acts of police violence, or operators of Web sites publishing the images, one French civil liberties group warned on Tuesday.

And then we have the Libby case. While Sandy Berger walks free, in fact, hasn't to this day even taken his legally required polygraph test, someone like Scooter Libby could go to jail for up to 25 years.
I suppose as an attorney he should have just said "I don't remember" to the investigators and to the Grand Jury. That's what Tim Russert did and all the other journalists as well. I've haven't heard as many "I don't remember" statements since Filegate and Travelgate.
He should have claimed it was about getting serviced by an intern.
This verdict makes me sick. They'll go after Dick Cheney next. Black is white and white is black.
