As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
An early and quick start. I am off to Denver for two weeks. Will start the thread on all but a week from Friday, but will be about two hours later than normal (about 9 AM ET).
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
The specialist didn't see the muscle thinning and weakness the other dr. had seen, but the specialist did order another stress test...somewhat mixed, but not so bad as feared. She was upbeat afterwards...She posted this in the early afternoon on Friday's thread. You can probably find it??
Thanks, always! Have a good day!
At least my Southern drawl is authentic, unlike you know whose, when I ask, "Whare you gonnna goooooo in N'oth Caroliiiiina, Rave?"
Not only did Hillary affect the drawl, but she also read a 1st person Black poem in a gruff Black male voice. Her pandering was so obvious (to me) that I was surprised that she didn't claim to have enjoyed the watermelon served at the breakfast meeting held before the service.
The Walter Reed Hospital debacle, according to what I've read, is another headline grabbing inaccuracy: the deplorable conditions are not in the hospital proper but in a building across the street from the hospital (ex-motel dubbed Building 18 and due to be torn down...thus repairs would have been an unnecessary expense and unfeasible) which the government bought to house an overflow of ambulatory vets, who could go home for further treatment if they wished.
The damage is in only 7 rooms, and the story goes (that I read) that those particular rooms housed vets who refused to move to other rooms when offered the chance, refused to have a change of sheets, had clothes and debris all over the floor but refused to allow a modicum of clean-up there.
Senator Diane Fienstein, head of the Veteran Affairs Committee and now loudly complaining, evidently was not on top of her job keeping an eye on things, because The Washington Post has known about all this for the past 4 months and did a story on it.
Mentioning VA hospitals. In 1960, my father fell rather hard on a sidewalk while playing football with some of us. A bully was quite mean with us. This guy was huge compared to us so dad thought he would join in. He was tackled and landed extremely hard on the sidewalk..shattering his knee cap and other bones.
He was rushed to the local VA where he was told they would have to amputate. Mom, said, "no"!
She insisted that he be tranferred to another hospital where they put steel rods in his leg. Much of that hospital/doctor bill was paid by her money, not insurance.
It took many months for him to recover at home with a cast from toe to hip, but our help he did. :-) That was my first experience in changing bed pans...oh joy, just what an eleven year old wants to do. I learned early. ;-)
Must state, our local VA has always had a bad reputation. I'm not insinuating all are like that.
Thanks, Molly......Yes, I'll find it.
I know what you mean! I would rather listen to finger nails on a chalk board than her...
ooops....typo in prev. post. Good morning, a.c. Isn't this one of the most frustrating things you can think of?
Wouldn't have been prudent, "you know".
Get ready to spend the rest of the day shuddering whenever you think of her.
Lucky you. Denver is where my heart is! Hope to retire there in the near future!
Good morning, C.M.! Yes, that is another frustration that defies description.
Yes, more frustrated than I can adequately express. I cannot even imagine the level of stupidity and rationalization that it would take to vote for the shrill one. This country would NOT survive her.
It would be so nice if people actually informed themselves on the issues before voting, and the candidate's character, but I guess those people are all called "Republicans". (LOL!)
IMO the only truthful thing that Hillary has ever publically said is that "We will take things from you and give it to others for the common good." Chilling.
Good morning, LBKQ. I hope you're on the mend now and get stronger fast. There's a nasty stomach bug going around and it's supposed to be horrible.
I don't know if she is more disturbing when she is faking who she is, or when she is revealing who she really is.
(Shaking head)
Gotta run now.
Good morning, OldFriend. I just had my husband come in the study to listen to a YouTube audio of Hillary's playacting yesterday. She is the perfect panderer-in-chief.
Actually I haven't had a stress test yet. What I had was an EKG, which showed that I probably had NOT had a silent heart attack. They still don't know why the muscle is weak in one area of my heart. What they are looking for now is the possibility of a blockage somewhere.
The stress test is scheduled for this Thursday @ 6:30 a.m.
