As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
On a vote of 246 to 182, mostly along party lines, the House indicated it should be National policy to shame the troops and support defeat in the current war.
Interestingly, the DemoncRATS say they don't want to repeat the finale of the Vietnam War where they pulled the rug out from under the Saigon regime, and forever became known as the party of peace at any cost. Nevertheless, that is exactly the strategy they are pursuing.
Today, the Senate will likely tell the world "wait long enough, America will leave," placing our troops in Baghdad and Iraq in even more peril.
Of course, the DemoncRATS have an answer for that--they want the President to bring the troops home. In other words, while they want an American defeat, they want it at the hands of the Republican President--to wash themselves of the Vietnam debacle.
Oh, how the ghosts of the past haunt the present.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
The sun is shining and some of the snow has melted from the deck.
You and your hubby have a great time.
Sarah , Greg and I are going siteseeing in Oswego..then out for Chinese.
Oh..due to the weather Greg took a few days off. His boss and co workers who live in Albany did, too. Can't work on a highway in white out conditions
Hello
It's 22 degrees here. The **** is melting off the road with the assistance of that stuff the HWY Dept puts on the roads before storms.
I've put my groceries away and am giving serious thought to a good nap.
Yesterday, somewhere there was a list showing how the house voted. I can't remember where it was.
If you are still looking for the House votes, tillacum.

Busy day here, and we just got word we are getting last-minute company..Mr. Marple's niece and family from St. Louis. They are on a college-visiting trip but the son is pretty sure of an appointment and wants to go to the Naval Academy.
Anyway, we are taking them out to eat once they get here, as we have only diet food in the house and three teenagers are going to want a bit more! LOL!
I saw that you had posted. Thank you. The politcal news is so disheartening here. I thought perhaps we could use another perspective.
Have a good evening. I know what you mean about diet food and going out to dinner. All we have are low-carb things and NO SNACKS. When mama diets, everyone diets. LOL!
Ya' know, it ocurred to me that I should have put "Anna Nicole Smith" somewhere in that article and in the keywords. Then, more people would read it! LOL!
Just kidding. I think it is getting enough of a response as it is.
The sun was shining today....Oh!! What a great warming feeling!!
We're over the hump. 51
Dear Sir and Madam,
You have said often enough that you don't believe in the war in Iraq and that you want to bring the troops home. Yet all you do is talk and sign non-binding resolutions which only goes to show that you really don't mean what you say about ending the war or that you're just playing political games and in doing so giving aid and comfort to a dedicated enemy.
Kaboom!!
I read that. It is a great letter. I pinged JT to it.
BBL
I've off to watch tv/. See you all in the morning.
Thank you Rheo, that's what I was looking for. Appreciate it.
Me too. Till tomorrow.
yup.. 4 more inches fell here today so far...
and the third week of temps below "ridiculous"
Hope your party was fun. I have two this week & also need to find masks/beads/wild outfits to fit the occasion
Excellent; thanks for posting that. The Democrats are giving more than aid and comfort but I'm too tired to think how to express what it is they are providing the jihadists.
Well, it stands to reason that when I stay out this late there's nobody here to talk to when I arrive.
