As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
On a vote of 246 to 182, mostly along party lines, the House indicated it should be National policy to shame the troops and support defeat in the current war.
Interestingly, the DemoncRATS say they don't want to repeat the finale of the Vietnam War where they pulled the rug out from under the Saigon regime, and forever became known as the party of peace at any cost. Nevertheless, that is exactly the strategy they are pursuing.
Today, the Senate will likely tell the world "wait long enough, America will leave," placing our troops in Baghdad and Iraq in even more peril.
Of course, the DemoncRATS have an answer for that--they want the President to bring the troops home. In other words, while they want an American defeat, they want it at the hands of the Republican President--to wash themselves of the Vietnam debacle.
Oh, how the ghosts of the past haunt the present.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
(((((((((hugs))))))))))) to you too.
This was the friend Ev took to Las Vegas last month to drown his sorrows after the breakup. He is quite worried about him. Unfortunately Jon doesn't have a phone so Ev can't call him. Faith's brother has been in touch with him, though.
What a mess......
Every-day-prayers continuing, btw.
I am sorry that this too is adding to your already full emotional plate.
Young deaths do impact us all..

just got home.. need to check pings, email, news & sleep..
Tim Russert comes on later tonight, I think around 2000 or 2100 hours. I'm going to look for him tonight, 'cause I missed him this AM, in fact I don't watch him, but with Tony.......I will.
Please let me know how Tony got along with Tim. Not even for Tony would I watch Tim.
I woke up to that snow yesterday morning. It was 29 degrees today and the meltdown has begun.
It's suppose to be 40 here tomorrow.
Yes, we are supposed to have 40s also.. need to break out the shorts & T-shirts~!
Love the yellow ribbon on the van.:-)
Or truck.
Or whatever that is buried under that pile of snow.:)
That is a van that was cleaned off on Thursday. My other van has a LOT of yellow ribbons.. also flags, W 2004, etc. I either get a honk & thumbs up or a honk & middle finger salute from the kind folks in NE Ohio
Thanks, tillacum. I'd forgotten that Russert's show was replayed. Hope you're healing!
good eye sir!
I know my lawnmowers...:-)
I have a lot of mowers here & vacuum cleaners
and printers.... etc.
Stuff breaks here .. not that old "good" stuff
So, I keep it around like a good pack rat thinking perhaps the FIX IT GOOD FAIRY will do her thing.
On that note, will say goodnight. Not enough sleep last night!
Night Dolly...I'm shutting down also.
We had some pretty rare lake effect snow today...usually we're just enough south to miss it....sigh...
smooch! sweet dreams
I am so glad you are here. I was getting worried as I don't recall you posting over the weekend or so. How are you feeling?
Oh, Dolly. That's just not right. Do people actually live with that cold?
