My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Oh dear, well I have been up for hours now- had the coffee, waited until now to have the Bagel.
We have sunshine today! YAY! Only a trace of snow in the night. Temps hanging in around the 30s. March is coming tomorrow, how good is that??
You have a new addition on your page. ;)
What inspires you to write? Inquiring minds want to know, LOL!

Glad to hear that the temperature has warmed up and the snow fall is light. It has been said that "March come in like a lion and goes out like a lamb", so tomorrow could be interesting.

I think some coffee sounds good about now. I would rather have Herbal Tea, but it interferes with one of my meds.

Just we two My Dragon Fly and I
Serendipitous song sung
far and wide hither and yon
through the country side wide
from the heavens ringing high
loud and clear I see
A pair of Dragon Flies so dear.
