He referred to some very personal photographs among the stolen items.
It still bothers me that Daniel was found in bed with his mother. But it made for better photographs, right Howard???
Where was Howard from the time the nurse came in and the time Anna woke up. He never did say WHEN Daniel said he was suddenly sleepy and Howard said he should have thought more of it at the time. Howard's statement didn't make sense. It was out of place. Of course Daniel was sleepy. It wasn't exactly mid afternoon.
We know Daniel helped her to the bathroom and it sounds like it was right before or after the nurse was there. So that was about 6:30 AM. Breakfast came when? Hospitals are pretty strict about delivering breakfast. You get it whether you want it or not. They want to make sure you're eating and it's their obligation to get it to you. Where's breakfast?? That has to be before Anna found Daniel in bed with her.

I betcha that was the subliminal message to everyone who slept with Anna to keep their traps shut. Otherwise why would he say it that way. He could have said personal "items", treasured keepsakes, important items, anything else. But he chose to say "personal photographs".
When looking at the pictures of the yellow cup(s), I noticed that the hospital meal was on the table, a pink-colored domed top and cup. It's very unusual that those items would have been left over from the evening meal, they're usually picked up from all rooms. Wouldn't be surprised if HKS requested a "Do Not Disturb". Or, were they from breakfast?
